TWO? I thought we had no SRPs left to trade or does the trading draft picks 7 years out rule not apply to 2nd rounders?

We had 3 2nd rounders in 2026, 2029 and 2030.

So with the one we just got in the Strus trade we still have two 2nd rounders.

are the Heat able to sign and trade Gabe as well for another 2nd rounder or is that not possible capwise?

I imagine to offload robinson it would definitely cost us a first.. which we cant afford to do. So he stays..

The Lakers have the money to sign him outright so there is no incentive for S&T

LAL signed Gabe with their MLE so they don't need to give us assets to sign him.

I wonder what’s holding up the Harden Clippers deal?

Between this & the current sh*tting on Strus & Gabe this thread is going down hill fast.

At least some of us have been **** on them all along. Both will never be heard from again. They may as well have fallen off the edge of Kyrie's flat earth.

And that justifies poor behaviour & lack of class? It literally achieves nothing to disrespect players we developed, who in turn helped us achieve certain success. Im certain our organisation hold those 2 w/ high esteem.

I understand the sort of players Gabe & Strus are...i won’t resort to any disrespect. They deserve better & is the reason they both getting paid. Seriously disgusting the things i read on here.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Lowry/JRich/???
Herro/Robinson/Cain
Butler/Jaquez/Highsmith
Martin/Love/Jovic
Bam/Robinson/???

This is what we are currently looking at with the ability to use the TP MLE.

Have to think we either going to hope to nab Wood for the 5mil or pickup a guy like Noel on a Vet Min.

100% guarantee that Perkins doesn't even know who Gabe Vincent is. Most of those ex-players spend zero time doing their homework. They just read tweets and then regurgitate.

Step 1: Caleb Martin had a good ECF
Step 2: Decides Caleb Martin is 2nd best Heat player behind Jimmy
Step 3: Confuses him with Gabe Vincent cause all these no name players may as well be the same guy
Step 4: Gabe Vincent is now 2nd best Heat player who should have won ECF MVP

That’s probably how his thought process went

It’s tied up with least favorable with another team we don’t have it to trade

Don't know yet haven't seen any confirmation of that. 5Reasons retweeted their tweet from last night when the Oladipo stuff was announced.

I guess they are implying that this hasn't been made clear one way or the other yet.

And regardless how good caleb, gabe, strus, etc was theres no denying who the two best players were in the entire postseason. Bam was likely the best player in the entirety of the postseason more so than Butler even though butler was superhuman up to game 2 in the ECF.. without bam anchoring the defense every round, we are cooked
