Can’t we dig Steve Blake out of his crypt again?

Blazers let Hayes goto Lakers.

Seems clear the Blazers are done. They’ll fill out the roster with summer league standouts and call it good.

Sorry I can't really care that Portland didn't sign a domestic abuser with a career 4rpg average. Yes a good interior scorer but he doesn't bring much else to the game.

I want to believe something big is in the works still, but what that could end up being, greatly concerns me. Maybe it ends up being a fairly brilliant move be Cronin in the coming days (would prefer hours). Definitely not done though. If it's just a minor move like Plumlee and another big for depth with Nurkic, I'd consider that a major fail, and it will surely look ugly as a product on the floor.

If people are gonna call the season off over Jaxson Hayes, I’m not sure what I can say to that. People desperate to even seek negative additions at this point.

We better not just send Dame to MIA for peanuts. Make Miami, PHI and Brooklyn bid against each other. He wants out that doesn't mean we have to give him his every wish.

Other than being tall what does he provide? He is a career 4rpg 0.7 bpg 28.8%3pt and is a poor passer averaging as many turnovers as assists per game. That to me says he isn't worth the potential off court issues.

I’ll admit, I didn’t know about his off the court issues. That’s on me.

But it does show Cronin just could care less about doing what he says.

In the news it was said Dame prefers miami but doesn't demand. I have a sneaking suspicion other major players can out bid, brooklyn is lucrative for Dame and Maybe on top of a pick package we can dump nurk

Yeah I like some of the options out there better than others.
I want us to get a young center and young wing. I think Grant goes around the deadline...there is also talk that Grant could be switched to a sign and trade. There is a whole lot of confusion surrounding the Grant contract.

No one knows why Houston just traded away assets for draft rights to some player from 2017 either. I'd like to hope Jerami is going to go to Houston instead, but.. that.. that is just hope on my part.

I'm hoping we can turn Grant into a young Buck Williams type player

The Blazers getting any bigs back from the Dame deal would be a dream come true. Hoping the end of the Dame era also ends the allergic to 6’9” and higher players era

Speaking of Ayton (OP), I wonder if they would be interested in something like Nurk + Herro for Ayton, with Dame going to Miami, and Portland getting Ayton. The Suns get a less expensive, but solid starting center and another piece for their win now mode. Of course other assets might need to be included to balance things out.

I think converting Dame and Nurk into Ayton would be a decent get for Portland. Ayton is young, locked up 3 more years, fills a need.

If a team offered us a #1 pick for Dame and Ayton was the guy in the draft I think we'd consider that fair deal.

People are talking Nurk and filler for Ayton, you’re talking the entire franchise just handing it to Phoenix? Why?
