What's the problem ? Collecting assets instead of letting them go for nothing, right ? S&t still possible, mavs definitely should reach out to Portland. Doncic, Irving + Grant gives them the much need wing defender. Salary filler, hardy and a future pick. Deal done

Why?

Scottie might become an all-star. MAYBE. Dame IS an MVP calibre player.

32ppg on 65!!!!TS%.

You go to an immediate title contender and that’s kind of what you build a team for, right?
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Siakam + fillers make sense for us. Don’t know what are they looking for?

How does this make sense for us lol. Replacing Pascal with Dame isn’t winning us a ring. We’re too far away from contention

I don't see anything of value from the Sixers. If it's with the Heat, it's a minimum of Bam, Herro, Jaquez and picks or I'm not negotiating.

The better the top half of the East gets, the more likely it is that Masai makes a trade imo

you could also go the other way....the worst the top of the East gets (Bucks lose Lopez for example), the more likely Masai goes all-in.

That calf has been bothersome for a couple seasons. Not sure if part of that had to do with the Blazers shutting him down early...

FVV S&T to Rockets plus sweetener from Raps (2nd rounder?), Barnes plus salary filler and mutiple 1sts to Blazers for Dame.
Game, blouses.

This board is out of their god damn mind clutching onto Scottie **** Barnes rather than wanting Damian Lillard.

Are you agreeing that we trade Scottie or not trading Scottie? Can’t tell.

The Grant extension happened in a vacuum, I think. Even if you trade Lillard, they’ve got a pretty decent roster in place without him or including any return:

Scoot
Simons
Sharpe
Grant
Nurkic

Scoot and Sharpe are on rookie deals so the Grant deal doesn’t hurt as bad. If you add in a Lillard return, you might still have a playoff team there.

If Herro is the centerpiece the Blazers are screwing themselves. Should’ve just traded Scoot and built around Dame

Scoot + Herro core isn’t winning anything in the future

Just got rid of vv (albeit unintentionally), to go back to treadmilling with Dame.

With all due respect, I can't even see Dame wanting to join the Raptors with this crap.

Return to Toronto Raptors
