I'd rather just keep him out of spite. If he refuses to play, there should be a penalty.

If I'm negotiating with Miami, it starts with Bam, Herro, and Jaquez. And Dame doesn't have a NTC, so I'm squeezing every team for their best offer.

Shouldn't the Clippers use the assets that they were going to send to Philadelphia for Harden, maybe add something and get Dame who is signed and I think better.

Blazers are being foolish at allowing it to reach this point. The odds of them ever having another talent as good as Dame who actually wanted to spend his whole career in Portland is extremely low

I’m very doubtful that Scoot ever reaches that level. And even if he does, I doubt he has the same loyalty as Dame. Portland truly wasted the opportunity to build a good team around a generational talent and will be stuck in mediocrity for the next decade instead of trying to go all in

For those calling for a Dame for Barnes + Picks trade... Ask yourself, does replacing FVV & Barnes with Dame all of a sudden skyrocket us to championship contender?... I definitely don't think it does, I'd bet we're 2nd round exit at best.
