Blazers REALLY REALLY played this situation terribly.

Regardless, I’m sure they have affinity to Dame, but if Lowry and Herro and late firsts is all they can get, they just shouldn’t trade him.

That is pure garbage.

Hopefully the Blazers do what’s in their best interest here and not kowtow to whatever his preference is. Lotto Picks and quality young players. Not bloated salary and crap picks.

Damn. Pat Riley tends to win out in these situations.

Weird that this didn't happen before free agency. Not like Dame was subtle with the Will Smith song and Chris Haynes acting like his PR person.

Maybe there was some addition Portland claimed to be close to making in free agency that didn't happen, and that was the last show Lillard was giving them.

Then again the Heat letting all those other guys walk now looks like they were just setting up for this scenario. There've been reports about Arison refusing to go into the luxury tax but that could have just been a cover story.

What in the world does Miami have to offer for Dame besides Bam or Butler? Lol. That’s terrible… Simons and Scoot should make Portland want to laugh at a Tyler Herro led trade package. Portland is a joke if they don’t just trade him for the best available package. It’s not like a non contender wants anything to do with this anyway..

The timing does extra suck for Portland, and hopefully that is enough for them to change course on the doing right by Dame part of this. I would be pissed if I were Cronin, even though he has played this like a dolt. I'm telling Dame, "we'll try our best to get you to a contender but we also need as close to fair value as possible coming back."
