the stars dictate where they wanna go. he'll get his way because franchises won't ever get stars again if they don't play ball.

the rest of the league will hate it but he's going to join jimmy/bam.

not exactly running from the grind though

They have a great core and are gonna get at least another piece or two in a Dame deal:

Scoot
Simons
Sharpe
Grant
Nurkic
Lillard return - so a ton of picks plus a guy like Herro

That isn’t bad at all.

no.

Lowry + Martin + Jovic works salary wise. multiple picks will be added.

And you think Portland accepts that?

yeah Dame is going where he wants (Miami) and they'll oblige.

my guess:
Lowry
Martin
Jovic
Jaquez Jr.
2027 & 2029 unprotected
2028 & 2030 swaps

It's more to do with Damian Lillard. And you are out of your god damn mind for severely overrating Damian Lillard for your own personal agenda.

How is Lillard being overrated? The guy is still one of the most prolific scorers in the league coming off a season where he averaged 32/5/7 on 65 TS% which included 15 games of 40+ points (more than 1/4 of his GP) and one where he dropped 71 despite not having another all-star beside him.

There just isn't many ways we could realistically get him unless we somehow get a S&T/large TPE out of the FVV signing. Scottie + OG + filler (Thad/Boucher) + a few picks would probably get it done, but that leaves a pretty big hole on the wings.

That just not true. Scottie + Thad + Porter + Boucher + either Flynn or Achiuwa works pretty easily and actually keeps us under the tax. Thad and Porter are expiring deals so roster spots aren’t an issue.

It’s not that difficult.

Kyle will shake lose in this deal. We should bring him back when he's bought out.

Not sure what that poster is thinking, rarely do teams already have accumulated positive assets before their star asks out. Far from a disaster.

Yeah yeah…just fast forward to the part where he’s playing for MIA and we’re getting dusted in the 1st rd every year because Masai tried to ask for too much for his players.

I think it’s just more lottery in their future. More importantly, historically speaking, the Blazers had a seven year window, which is a long contention window, and did nothing with it. With a loyal superstar. And a great second option. And assets when this all started. Hell they still have assets, yet can’t figure it out.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

I absolutely loathe the Miami Heat as an organization.

kyle is a volatile personality. i don't think it's a good idea to bring him back here with a rookie coach.

only problem is Raptors would be competing with a bunch of contenders....they'd all make a call to Lowry....Sixers, Clippers, Suns, etc.

Return to Toronto Raptors
