Portland will have to take Herro, not a great fit with Scoot and Sharpe.. unless he’s willing to come off the bench still.

It's more to do with Damian Lillard. And you are out of your god damn mind for severely overrating Damian Lillard for your own personal agenda.

How is Lillard being overrated? The guy is still one of the most prolific scorers in the league coming off a season where he averaged 32/5/7 on 65 TS% which included 15 games of 40+ points (more than 1/4 of his GP) and one where he dropped 71 despite not having another all-star beside him.

There just isn't many ways we could realistically get him unless we somehow get a S&T/large TPE out of the FVV signing. Scottie + OG + filler (Thad/Boucher) + a few picks would probably get it done, but that leaves a pretty big hole on the wings.

That just not true. Scottie + Thad + Porter + Boucher + either Flynn or Achiuwa works pretty easily and actually keeps us under the tax. Thad and Porter are expiring deals so roster spots aren’t an issue.

It’s not that difficult.

15 roster spots. Just stop already.

That I would do and that’s better than Herro or Maxey imo.

Just under no circumstance would I include Scottie. All meaningless though because Dame is going to pick his location which will be MIA and we’ll be 1st rd fodder due to Masai’s overvaluation and indecisiveness.

Tell me how replacing FVV, Barnes, Boucher & Achiuwa with Dame catapults us to championship contender?

Really? The NBA is a stars league. Every year we're shown a team's 1/2 is the most important part. 5-8 can be filled through vets, trades etc once the main pieces are in place. You're really going to let your attachment to bench players and a potential future all-star get in the way of getting one of the league's elite players? He'll probably go to Miami anyways though.

Jake Fischer reported the Sixers have no interest including Maxey

Because they want to win now and have to include Harris. Even if he's just guessing, it makes total sense to want to trade anything and everything else.

In fairness we do have better assets than Miami and we also said that about Kawhi.
I believe in Masai.

Siakam is better than the Blazers have and Barnes taking the next step could launch us into championship contention. Our depth wouldn't even be that bad tbh either.

But we said that about Kawhi too. Plus OG and Gary are both young and on Portland’s timeline.

I don't mind the OG trade though....makes more sense than trading Barnes or Siakam

I don't think we do since we probably aren't willing to move 6 years of picks and need the remaining players to compete.

Btw... another example of star signing an extension and then asking to be moved later instead of free agency. This is just the way its going to continue from now on.

No idea why some posters are even wasting a second of thought to Dame coming here.

Everyone and their mom knows and has known he’s going to MIA for weeks now.

Just be prepared for the annual curb stomping in the 1st round that you’re false messiah put us in due to his indecisiveness.

People need to get it out of their heads that we're not trading for Dame. Along with that he wants to go to Miami.

only problem is Raptors would be competing with a bunch of contenders....they'd all make a call to Lowry....Sixers, Clippers, Suns, etc.

Yep. Hard pass.

Who was it that said to me that Dame hasn't made any threats? Where you at?
