That I would do and that’s better than Herro or Maxey imo.

Just under no circumstance would I include Scottie. All meaningless though because Dame is going to pick his location which will be MIA and we’ll be 1st rd fodder due to Masai’s overvaluation and indecisiveness.

But we said that about Kawhi too. Plus OG and Gary are both young and on Portland’s timeline.

POR isn’t mad or upset with Dame, nor does he only have a single season left on his contract. This is not the same situation at all.

In fairness we do have better assets than Miami and we also said that about Kawhi.

It’s not that difficult.

Tell me how replacing FVV, Barnes, Boucher & Achiuwa with Dame catapults us to championship contender?

Really? The NBA is a stars league. Every year we're shown a team's 1/2 is the most important part. 5-8 can be filled through vets, trades etc once the main pieces are in place. You're really going to let your attachment to bench players and a potential future all-star get in the way of getting one of the league's elite players? He'll probably go to Miami anyways though.

And here’s my point about the Blazers front office. They had their number one in place for nearly a decade and got I think one WCF berth out of it? And now they have to trade their franchise player?

Not great. Yeah they have good young players now, but history tells us they won’t know what to do with them or build around them. Then they just gave Jerami Grant, a veteran, a fat contract. Not really sure what they’re doing. They’ll trade Dame and get more picks?? What are they gonna do with those picks?? Or they walk away with Herro? That team still isn’t good. They’ll have to make a bunch of smart trades to mold those pieces into something. And again, history tells us that they won’t do that.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

Both have said they want to have longer term contracts and OG has said he wants a bigger role. No to trash responses that aren’t thought out. I’m a keep scheming.

I think Lillard makes more sense here if they landed Brook Lopez instead of Poeltl given his ability to space the floor at C. But yea, not possible since they didn't have cap space

Hope you’re referring to Merrit which also means makes no sense you included me in the quote because I literally finished by saying it’s meaningless and he’s going to MIA

Dame is 33 years old who hasn't proven he can be a #1, no matter how many iterations of a roster Portland has surrounded him with... You still haven't explained how replacing FVV, Barnes, Boucher & Achiuwa who were a play in team, with Dame, catapults us to championship contender. I'm not sold on that squad and we'd still have zero bench... Dame isn't prime Kawhi who can be your best scorer while also defending the other team's best player.

Why?

Scottie might become an all-star. MAYBE. Dame IS an MVP calibre player.

32ppg on 65!!!!TS%.

You go to an immediate title contender and that’s kind of what you build a team for, right?
Because I have no interest in acquiring a player who doesn't want to be here, and will be getting paid 60 mill at age 37 for our best asset. Also, this team isn't like the 2018 situation, where we had so much depth that we could afford to trade DeMar/Jakob, you trade for Dame and we'll be left with a roster that's drained of talent and depth.

Not even the timeline matches, og is nearly 6 or 7 years older than scoot, Simons is 21 ?, sharpe 20yo... og and gary also just have one year left on their contracts. Stop dreaming boy

Dame lived in Portland. It’s rainy and comparable to Vancouver. Toronto may have a bit more snow, but it’s comparable.
I believe in Masai.

People posting trade proposals lol just give it up. We're ass. Time to focus on the 2024 offseason after a play-in exit while we get ready to watch a Celtics Heat ECF pt 3

Nothing Masai & Bobby have done over the past 4 years make sense.

Dame is really good, but I question how far he can really carry a team.

I would not throw the kitchen sink at someone like him, better saving it for a legit superstar that's younger than 30. Maybe if Luka/Giannis asks out next.

He's likely Miami bound anyways. Portland will work with Dame to keep this breakup amicable.

I think if I’m Portland I get everything not nailed down for Dame from the Heat. Flip Herro somewhere likely. Make them take Nurkic. Durant only wanted Phoenix and they still have them a ton.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

What? Not sure you meant it that way but this sounds quite racist. I think most humans prefer the warmth to the cold.

If thats all it takes you dont think twice about it. We still have Dame, GTJ, OG Siakam, Poetl. That would be a serious threat in the east and fun to watch.
