Morey is the GM equivalent to a boomer who listens to the classic rock station all day and gets excited about going to an Aerosmith concert even though the band members are in their 70's.

Morey is also likely thinking about what his next GM job will be. I'm sure he's been seething since the owners stopped him from se-signing his Precious, Harden, to a mega-extension.

The idea that we're not going to take back any multi-year contracts to make sure we have two max cap slots available next year is a joke. We're not getting two max players. We'd be lucky to get one guy to come here.

Worry about trying to win this year, Daryl!

On that note, I like the idea of Norm Powell. 3 yrs, 58 mil left on his contract is a bargain based on what other guys are signing for.
