Not sure the order, but expecting Morey, Tobias, Harden... and likely Embiid to be gone within the next 12 moths. And maybe the next 2 months. Not sure the GM wants to be here, and wouldn't be surprised if the Dame only anting Miami news isn't the final nail in the coffin for Embiid and his view of Philly as a place he has a shot.

Don't believe your lying eyes.

Same story every summer.

I am nearing down bad status enough that I might take that deal if only for the comedic factor of it all

I had that take loaded in the chamber for if/when he trades Harden for Powell and Morris(or a deal similar) with no significant draft capital or salary cutting capabilities.

You beat me to it.

I think even before that happens it's rather comparable. Judging both based on what they've done with the Sixers, look through their transaction history and remove pre-conceived biases, you could argue Colangelo did better. Granted, he had more to work with, so that's why I'm hesitant to go there quite yet. But one more busted trade and I'm going there.

I try to put myself in an NBA FA's shoes. There's easily a dozen nicer NBA cities to live in and this franchise's track record for success is less than enamoring. It makes perfect sense when you think about it.

Was down bad when Morey chose Harden over younger players on the rise (Hali the prime alternative.) Tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but...

I live here but if I was a young millionaire I would not lol. Which is why building via the draft was ideal but we **** that up too lol

Bro, long time since you been on here. I'm guess it's because Elon has ruined twitter with that 600 tweets per day bs.

Just do the trade with LA already! Powell, Mann, Morris, and a pick.

The elephant in the room no one has even mentioned yet:

Embiid has no pull around the NBA.

No stars desire to come here and play with him. Except Harden I guess, but I don't know how much of that was Embiid and how much of that was just the Sixers are really good and he knows Morey well. When star level players come here, they have no desire to stay. Embiid has never been a guy known to form relationships with other stars. He kinda keeps to himself. When star players come here, they have to adjust their styles to play with a ball dominant big man who pouts when things don't go his way.

This isn't helping either.

LA has not put Mann in any packages which is the sticking point more than likely

although I am sure Darryl is asking for PG and Kawhii and Balmer in a deal tho

I'm fine w/Pat Bev for the vet min. He'll set the defensive tone that Nurse wants. Maxey should learn a lot from him on that end.

I've been done with Morey since he traded for Harden, but I was always skeptical. I should have known from the beginning that the mentor of scam Hinkie would be a fraud himself.

I'd like to get Mann in the deal, but would settle for Powell, Morris, Covington and two 1st rd picks for Harden and Tucker

Are people really freaking out because Pat Bev was signed to a 1 year deal for the minimum? Vet leadership that plays 10-12 mins a night and can still defend. Don’t see the issue

Same..Mann shouldn't be a deal breaker in this is, but Morey will make it to where he is. But Powell, Morris, Cov, pick won't make me mad. Powell's a hell of a player.

I'm not settling. If the Clips and Harden get what they want, then the very minimum is we dump Tucker and get back a role player who can pair with Maxey in Mann.

Otherwise they can go F themselves. It's not too much to require.

No way we should take Powell over Mann. Mann is a better fit with Maxey, younger, and costs much less. Powell's bloated deal will cause problems for us next summer.

Morey is also likely thinking about what his next GM job will be. I'm sure he's been seething since the owners stopped him from se-signing his Precious, Harden, to a mega-extension.

Interesting take. Wonder how true that might be.

It's going to be hard for LAC to make a Harden trade with the new CBA now in affect.

I like the signing of Bev. He's still a guy you can play 10-12 minutes a night that Maxey can learn from. I still believe Harden plays here this season. Shooting and athleticism need to be added somehow.
