Damian Lilliard is requesting a trade. More than likely, he'll be on the East Coast. Probably freakin' Miami.
Some random troll wrote:Not to sound negative, but this team is owned by an arrogant cheapskate, managed by a moron and coached by an idiot. Recipe for disaster.

Thomas Bryant just signed a 2-year $5.6M deal with Miami.
Mo Wagner just signed a 2-year $16M deal with Orlando.

I can't see Bryant playing any meaningful minutes for Miami. He's the worst type of player for their hyper active switching defense. Dude just isn't playable in the playoffs. Denver didn't play him at all.

Yeah, it's a really odd move. Why add Bryant when they have Kevin Love?

Kind of wierd FA for Houston. Could understand the Garuba and TyTy trade if they are trying to win, looking at their FA additions. But Martin was great last year, I don't get it.

Oh danm or is that dumn maybe dimn -- how the Rockets brainless trust could have let that kid go -- & for so little! -- beats me.
& why in hull weren't we on our tip-toes to grab that kid using a couple of our 2 dozen or so R2 picks. What a lost opportunity! dang....

Oh man... plus the Rockets signed Dillon Brooks for 4/80m.
After trading Martin, TyTy & Garuba for chump change.
Wow... seems like total ineptitude -- at least I don't understand it that's for sure.

Re: Discussing Other Teams' Moves - Part 8
I’m in the minority apparently but $28 million for Vincent and Russell, another $17 million for Rui. I think they have more depth but should one of Davis/Lebron go down and it’s over. I think the Reaves and Hayes deals are fantastic but they brought everyone back, I thought the WCF was flukey.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Yeah my god spending that kind of money on brooks and FVF. Trading good young players away for roster spots ..... That's just EG level bad.

Re: Discussing Other Teams' Moves - Part 8
So... Landry Fields moved Collins for a couple of R2 picks, then he added Garuba & TyTy plus unspecified draft capital. Don't know what he sent back to Houston, but... I don't get it.
Man o man I would have liked to get one of Kenyon Martin Jr. or Usman Garuba. Or both of them! & it looks all this was for R2 picks, of which we now have a slew.

Yeah they have depth but if they get injuries that team is doomed.Rafael122 wrote:I’m in the minority apparently but $28 million for Vincent and Russell, another $17 million for Rui. He was terrible. But he only got 430 minutes; not judging him on that. Meanwhile, Martin & Garuba were probably the two best plyers on their team!
