The only bright spot I would say he's done was bringing in Melton and drafting Maxey. That's still not good enough for this city

The Sixers haven't won a championship during my lifetime and I thought it that would change but at this point I'll be a old ass man by the time that happens maybe

Agreed. Dude always tries to maximise his return but ends up with smaller return because no GM would want to deal with him and him being too cunning gets in the way.

I can’t believe we let McDaniels go. This sucks.

Didn't play him much. Runs the floor a little bit on the break. In half court kinda floats around without a purpose. Good for some athletic plays. Not really much of a shooter. SOme upside.

Who are the big targets in free agency you guys are going after next year that you don’t want any multi-year deals on the books? Just curious.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Drowned in the Glenn Rivers. Hope you guys actually give him a chance to play.

Who knows? The point of cap space and expirings isn't just to sign star FAs with cap room, it's also to create flexibility to trade for stars, acquire assets to later trade for stars, etc.

If you can't get a star now, you create avenues to get a star later.

Never got much of an opportunity to play here thanks to Doc and his pecking order of playing older, shorter and slower guys like Tucker and Niang over younger, longer and more athletic guys like McDaniels and House, Jr. If he develops a consistent outside jump shot, he could become Chris Boucher 2.0 for you guys. I guess time will tell.

The more of these toxic contracts that get signed, the happier I am that we're sitting it out. Teams will be regretting most of these deals immediately.

They gave up two seconds. We have those...oh wait...we lost them for tampering for Tucker and House, Jr.

And we just gave away #34 for nothing

Obviously still very early, but the Sixers already lacked depth, now they have even less.

Barring something unforseen, it's looking like at least on paper, they're going to be objectively worse next season.

Which, if that ends up being true they might as well take the pause year route, and hope Embiid doesn't ask for a trade. Not gonna sell to the fan base that a team that already wasn't good enough is going to somehow go farther next season with a worse roster just because of Nick Nurse.

But again, it goes without saying the summer is still early. But we can only react in the moment as these moves occur. Waiting until September to analyze isn't any fun.

Skinny boi, couldn’t shoot for us. Should shoot 43% from three for you all though. Schuylkill water ruins shooting.

What happens when nobody is willing to give any value for Herro and they can't get a Dame deal done? Do they awkwardly have to just cobble together some more dudes from the g-league and heat culture their way into the playoffs again?

I think Morey is counting on Morris, Powell, Batum and Mann the incoming depth players.

He shot 40% from 3 on low volume here. I'd say catching the ball was more his issue.

Pascal Siakam bro.

As much as I like Pascal, he is not the type of player you neglect to maximize your current season to wait on.

We've seen no indication Morey wants those players. All we've heard if Harden wants the Clippers, we've heard absolutely nothing about Morey or the Sixers wanting the Clippers players.

Morey blows, but I'll give him one thing. He hunts for big fish. Now maybe in the end he's forced to take a deal from the Clippers, but I don't think right now he's counting on those players. If anything, he's probably deluding himself into thinking he can lure a star somehow.

Depends on what maximizing your current season looks like.
