In Washington to start his career (142 games), made just 33% of his 3-pointers. Bumped it up to 35% in his 79 games with the Bulls. Last year with the Lakers, shot 38%. Free throws tell a similar story, going from 75% with the Wizards (68% as a rookie) to 78% in Chicago and 87% with the Lakers.
And while he's never been high usage, has had roughly a 2:1 A/TO ratio for his whole career.
What I like about Troy Brown, NAW and Milton is the fact that in addition to solid spotup shooting and size they all have x-factor in their games to get to new level:
1) Brown has creativity as passer
2) NAW has PoA defense
3) Milton has PnR game
Now I can totally see how they can be much better than average 4-5mil player. For instance, NAW has showed ability to defend star level ballhandlers AND showed some signs as passer who can involve bigs. Such combination of skills make him a highly compatible role player. It means that we have trio of plug and play players NAW-Brown-Milton all three can dribble, defend, shoot and pass. Finch can now rotate backcourt without sacrificning shooting, defense or size.
