Simms actually has some ball-handling skills, but even if they don't translate he is a silly athlete.

If not for Barnes I’d say he was the clear best athlete at the combine. Will be elite even by NBA standards there.

Sims, Barnes, Keon, Lewis, Wieskamp

all lit the combine up

its finna be interesting to see where the Texas guys go...Brown, Kai, Sims...honestly wouldn't be surprised if Sims is the first one off the board.

I'd add Pons and Agbaji to that list...they fully lived up to high expectations at the combine. Agbaji touched 12' compared to 12'1" for Keon on the max vert, and he's 30 pounds heavier than Keon too.

Agbaji withdrew his name from the draft.

Wow, good to know, thanks! Kinda surprised because I thought he had a good enough combine to earn a 2nd-round promise. Ripped 215 pound frame, touches 12' on the max vert, and knocked down plenty of 3's last season. I have him first ten out on my board, but figured some team would like what they saw.

Kispert looks great for the #15 overall pick. He is projecting to be a long-term rotation piece and low-end starter.

Man I remember a ton of people falling in love with Sharife Cooper leading up to draft. LOL.

Same. Mitchell is a playoff rotation player. And many of us are still baffled at Brown’s decision to not put him on Curry in game seven.

yea, 8 assists as a true freshmen for Auburn was pretty ridiculous, also shot 83% from the FT line so general consensus was that he was a better shooter than he showed in Auburn

turns out he actually wasn't a good shooter at all and his playmaking just couldn't make up for pool physical tools.

Turns out that even if he his ceiling as a poor man's Trae Young, that's still not a NBA player.

Both him and Giddey had clear ceilings but Giddey hitting his was still a very good NBA player

I feel like this class will closely resemble 2021. So much potential, so many guys unlikely to hit their ceiling

You were pretty spot on except for Cooper which is why I liked that post in case you were wondering

EDIT: I want to retroactively add Quintin Grimes, as well, I suppose probably over Simms or Vrenz, but I'm going to just take a sixth slot for the lulz.

Overrated (no particular order):
1. Kai Jones
2. JT Thor
3. Tre Mann
4. Isaiah Jackson
5. Charles Bassey

Inevitably, some on both sides will bite me.

I feel alright about this. I remember with Herb (because I was at Alabama at the time) thinking he was the best or second best prospect we had had while I was in graduate school there. He was just soo fundamentally sound. I also still like Vrenz? But picking sleepers deep in the second round probably isn't the way to do over/underrated because even when you are right (Sims) the result is probably the 14th best player on a team
