In other news, bad days coming up for you.

Spurs have officially signed Victor to his rookie deal, and have listed him as a "forward" on their website.

This was to be expected by most, they won't just throw him at C from day one with his body frame.

Zach Collins will start. Sochan will not.

Then again, it's rumored they might go after Lillard.

Keldon/McDermott/Sochan/Branham and a couple of 1sts far trumps anything Miami has to offer. Lillard is signed to a 4 year contract, he has absolutely no leverage to where he might land. Portland will take what's best for them, as they should.

Okay. Enough is enough. Free agency is basically done, time to start drafting.

Other stuff like Harden and Lillard trades excuses for not starting this are laughable. They could be traded in September for all we know.

I have deals pending, time to draft. Do something Ty, drop down the hammer if you have to. 8-)

Lillard can’t even be traded until July 10th and we’re not waiting that long. Everyone is ready now.

Make your pick insfo!

It's the start of summer, and it is possible maybe some of the managers want to relax and enjoy the beach...family....home projects...etc... 8-) 8-) WHAT IS THE RUSH NANCY? Are there bylaws for the league written down? if not, do we really have to jump when someone gets bored and wants to draft NOW?

Talking about living rent free in someones head.

There were at least 3 guys urging for the draft to start. Ty did it multiple times, from as a far as a month ago.

I mention it once and the soldier of fortune feels the need to purge the wrath of god upon my ass. Again and again.
You have 300 something posts and half of them are quoting me on random stuff.

Calm down you old fart, you'll blow a vein. Enjoy your beach time, by the time we get to your pick it will be August anyway. 8-)

And because it's summer, we all have families and want to enjoy the times.... That's a reason to start and finish this as soon as possible, not to prolong it. I mean Optms has made it clear, he has some plans and needs to be somewhere else. He wants to make his pick and get it over it.

Nobody wants this thing to last for two months.

Last year the draft started on July 23rd. The year before, August 21st.

And every year it is the same whining from the exact same source.

So what are you’ll gonna do after the draft when yahoo won’t open up for another couple of months???

It's summer as someone else said.

Literally anything else.

And again, I'm the 4th person to call for the draft to start. Why the **** did both of you not bitch at the other three before me?

I don't mind the targeting in general, but this is beyond ridiculous.

And even more ridiculous than that is not selecting Scoot already. Everyone and their grandma knows what's up, especially me since we talked both about the movement of the pick(you don't want to trade it) and you already told me who's the guy you're taking, as if it was not obvious already.

No amount of FA movement, trades or SL will sway your opinion at this point. So why the **** you won't do it?

I mean I get #4. Go ahead, take 3 weeks for that one if you want. It's not clear cut and it takes time, okay, have that.

But #2 is plain smart assing at this point, stuff Mirja used to do back in his day. It's old and not funny.

Last year I insisted because I knew what Eason's gonna do in the SL.

And he did exactly that and it cost me a 1st round pick because we didn't start early.

There's a lot of clueless **** who draft based on summer league play. To each it's own I guess.

But this year people have been calling it for a month now. I don't have an agenda this time, I don't even expect it to be done soon.

There's a thought process to be had from #4 down. I get it.
Not at #2 and #3 though. Not even selecting the #2 after you've been warned by the commish for a month now is a plain douchebag move, simple as that.

So when are you planning on continuing the draft insfo? Just so we can set a date and not wait around 24/7 for a pick to be made because we're trying to be considerate of the other people behind us.

Agreed on #2. It's just that I don't want to do what Ty did in just make a pick in advance and put the pressure on others to make picks. If we all agree that the draft should start now and are going to hold everyone to the 24 hour rule, I have no issues making the pick.

I'll accept, I'm not as up-to-date on college players like some of you are, and depend on the summer league to check out prospects. So it would be great if we can wait till the end of summer league to start the draft.

How about July 18th as the official draft start date? That is around the same time we started last year, and a month earlier than the previous year. Does that work for everyone?

And ok, I'll take Scoot. Have an open spot.

I'd still request a July 18th date for #4

Be considerate of others but accept a 2 week request just to make another selection ontop of the time that has already been given. uh huh

That's exactly the point. I want to enjoy my Summer too, getting tanned with nothing but a thong and living the bachelor life 8-) . But since the draft was started, I feel obligated to stay here and select my pick just to get the draft moving for the next guy, as we've literately done every summer. I would have been cool if we started in September. But that isn't what happened here. The draft was started right after the actual draft. That wasn't my choice. And yes, there were rules in place before to prevent crap like this from happening. I guess they've just decided to toss the rules out the window this summer. Cool. But like I said, don't suddenly penalize me when its my time to pick whenever and I'm not even thinking about basketball.

Whatever, since I’m supposedly holding up everyone’s enjoyment, let’s do this.

I think our great commish set July 5th as the cut off. So everyone is ready to make your picks every 24 hours? If so, let’s start the clock now.

Sick and tired of you lot bitching and moaning
