Super strange that he goes from averaging 4 points as a senior at Duke to being a 20/10 guy in the G-league. Bizarro world.

my confidence that micic will play for the thunder is lower now.

Micic to the Sixers would make a ton of sense after a potential Harden trade. Fit with Embiiid would be really good.

Don't know Jack White though

He played at Duke and really, really looks like he played at Duke.

The most points he averaged in his 4 year college career was 4 points. I think that after you read this post you can forget he ever existed and be ok.

Is it not possible, that they signed him for the G-League

that's a start

That's improvement, I expected little bit more. Maybe 215-218 lbs, but he can still gain weight till start of the season.

With Micic signed, bench rotation could be something like Wallace - Joe - Micic - Kenrich - JWill.
Guys like Poku and Dieng will get their chances, but they would have to play much better if they want some impactful minutes.

This whole roster still seems a bit unbalanced to me. The core should be SGA, Giddey, JDub, Chet and Wallace, there are good and cheap roleplayer like Kendrich, Micic and Joe and one project guy with Dieng.

What we need are some additional bigs, ideally with good D and a good 3pointer. I'm curious if and when (deadline? 2024 offseason?) Presti is going for a bigger trade, unloading Dort, Bertans, maybe Oladipo and some assets to get a (very) good additional starter.

My dream would be JJJ, although I don't think Memphis will let him go. But he would fit ideally in our core and with Memphis maybe imploding in the aftermath of the Ja Morant issue, you never know...

yeah we needed bigs coming into this offseason and drafted/signed guards.

Big move likely coming next offseason IF our team is doing well enough. I don't think JJJ will be available anytime soon though

I wouldn’t assume the roster is finished yet.

He strikes me as a grizzlies guy.

What is the maximum y’all would give up for him, both contract-wise and in addition to dort?

I feel like that puts us pretty close to the cap, eh? A few million off?

Dort, Wiggins and Miami 2025 FRP. 4 years/96 millions total to PJ Washington.

I have no clue what we are doing. Building 4 guards teams, an australian team or trying to get 10 SRPs in a single draft.

Odds of Micic being traded are obviously higher now I guess?

I would love to think that we are just collecting contracts for a superstar but nobody wants Bertans + Oladipo + Mills.

I still haven’t wrapped my mind around the new salary cap. The numbers these guys are getting seem too high to me.

Nothing that’s happened so far makes sense without a move to balance things out. I mean, Dipo and Patty are asset grabs. But this roster is a (talented), redundant mess at the moment. Kinda was last year as well.

Without investigating charlotte’s roster too much, this seems pretty ok, value-wise. I think Wiggins is a steal, but I don’t know how he’s viewed around the league. He’s 50/40/80, plays good D, and makes like 2 million. That’s a wild asset with these contracts going around.

Would need more salary going out.
