I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Other than a possible Harden or Dame trade, the off-season appears over.

Continuing the Dillon Brooks discussion, it reminded me a lot of 2016. A weak free agent class, where those with cap room pushed up the value of a lot of nondescript players.

It is a really nice get on a minimum contract. But all he’s going to do is fill in for when Beal/Durant/Booker are injured. He’s not giving them any defense or ball movement.

According to Woj, Gordon was also considering offers from Golden State and the Bucks.

That's what I'm talking about. Trading him for that **** package from Miami should be a fireable offense.

Here's to hoping he'll end up in Brooklyn or Utah.

Suns just stacking these solid role players on minimum deals man. Annoying as hell but good for them.

Beal / Payne
Gordon / Okogie / Lee
Booker / Watanabe
Durant / Bates-Diop / Metu
Ayton / Eubanks

Probably need another 4/5. But that’s a really dangerous squad. Think many are banking on the “there’s only 1 ball” thing to ruin them but I don’t buy it, I think they’ll be crazy good offensively. And I don’t think they’ll be as bad defensively as many think either. Injuries are going to be a factor for sure though.

Am I the only one who looks at these "great roleplayers" the Suns signed and am still looking for even one in the bunch that impresses me?

No, I’m right there with you. And they have zero first or second round picks for like the next seven years.

For minimum deals or whatever they fine but like they added a bunch of 10-15 men on a team without even a 7 man rotation. Obviously super frontloaded but like they don't look like a team to me and none of their signings have changed that.

Bates Diop and Eubanks were also good gets for the minimum.

With the context that all they had to offer was minimum contracts it's fair to say they have a good free agency.

Denver is still the favorite and the injury risks are real but I don't really see the 'only one ball' stuff because Booker and KD are really good moving off the ball and Beal is a good spot up shooter.

No, I want Jovic. Caleb Martin/Duncan Robinson/Herro can all go to a third team where a really bad contract comes back to Miami and Portland receives a ton of picks.

Something like:

Portland out: Dame
Portland in: Bojan, Bagley, Wiseman, Jovic, three future firsts (unprotected) from Miami, Utah 1st, and a future first from Detroit

Miami out: Jovic, Martin, Herro, Robinson, three future firsts
Miami in: Dame, Rudy Gay

Utah out: Rudy Gay, 1st round pick (or one of their Minnesota picks)
Utah In: Caleb Martin

Detroit out: Bojan, Bagley, Wiseman, 1st
Detroit in: Herro, Robinson

If I am Portland I am sending him to Miami with nothing left but Bam and Butler. They will get a couple of Eric Gordon types who sign for the minimum. Portland is already at the salary cap threshold with only Bam, Butler, Dame, and Rudy Gay's corpse.

I don't understand Harden wanting a trade. Playing with an elite big man is the best thing a guard can ask for. Can you imagine being that talented and thinking that you plus the league MVP ain't getting it done?
