The problem is nobody really wants Herro. Hornets hasn’t registered their interests in Herro and Miami has proven that they can function without Herro and doesn’t think he could’ve helped them in the final which dropped his value a bit . No teams really wanted to helped the Heat unless they gets fair return which involving bam from what I am told. Jazz is now in the race, 76ers as well, maybe Nets. Maybe Celtics. These teams have way better offers than Miami. This is what happened when Heat doesn’t value their picks because they always looking to stay relevant so their picks doesn’t hold much values in such trade.

Are people coming up with trade scenarios based on Dame’s entire career or the few years he has left as a good player at 33? Some scenarios I have seen on the GB sound more fitting for a 25 year old star than someone who won’t be worth the final year (or two) of his current contract.

That's what I pointed out too. It's crazy, some of those idiots think the heat are only offering our table scraps for Dame, like no **** there's gonna be other teams in play to facilitate the trade. At the same time, they think these other teams are going to give up a warchest for a THIRTY-THREE YEAR OLD DAMIAN LILLARD on a supermax for 3/4 more years. Like, fam; it is not 2015.

If they don't trade him where he wants to go; Miami or other suitors, it will have a bad ripple effect on this gen of players; ask Boston why some players turn them down after what they did to IT.

No, the Heat are not offering pdx just that. It would shatter any kind of front office relationships going forward and teams will be reluctant to work with us or help us when we need it. Check the trades we've done with Spurs and OKC for example. We're typically a fair trading partner. I firmly believe we're involving other teams. Pdx doesn't want to bite yet, probably hoping Dame is pressured into opening up his preferred destination list.
