Well Harden cares about Harden first and winning second and the Sixers made him sad because they wouldn't give his old ass a max extension. That's what this is all about.

Wouldn't shock me if he just retires after this year if no one gives him a big contract. I don't think James is the play for a minimum and ring chase kind of guy.

That's what I'm talking about. Trading him for that **** package from Miami should be a fireable offense.

Here's to hoping he'll end up in Brooklyn or Utah.

Unfortunately this is what i think happens and its still a sh... package. It will be a 3 team trade Herro ending up in brooklyn. No matter how you slice it the heat will get a steal of dame while only loosing hero n fricking robinson. If im portland i want caleb martin to fu.. what dame wants

No, I want Jovic. Caleb Martin/Duncan Robinson/Herro can all go to a third team where a really bad contract comes back to Miami and Portland receives a ton of picks.

Something like:

Portland out: Dame
Portland in: Bojan, Bagley, Wiseman, Jovic, three future firsts (unprotected) from Miami, Utah 1st, and a future first from Detroit

Miami out: Jovic, Martin, Herro, Robinson, three future firsts
Miami in: Dame, Rudy Gay

Utah out: Rudy Gay, 1st round pick (or one of their Minnesota picks)
Utah In: Caleb Martin

Detroit out: Bojan, Bagley, Wiseman, 1st
Detroit in: Herro, Robinson

If I am Portland I am sending him to Miami with nothing left but Bam and Butler. They will get a couple of Eric Gordon types who sign for the minimum. Portland is already at the salary cap threshold with only Bam, Butler, Dame, and Rudy Gay's corpse.

Great point if caleb martin is included then yes to miami like that multi team trade very well put together.
Miamis roster will be gutted no nartin struss vincent herro robinson granted dame is better than them all but thats alot of bench

Denver chosing not to give Jeff Green the tax MLE and give it to Jackson is amazingly stupid.

Do we know that Horst didn't contact him? Do we know that Walker would have come here for the vet minimum if offered? Just because another team signs someone it doesn't mean Horst was "napping"
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Lonnie Walker signed a prove it deal with the Lakers last season, played about the best he could possibly hope for and found himself signing for the vet minimum. That should tell you a lot about Lonnie Walker the basketball player.

Technically true. But to this point, we’ve been realistically linked to Terrence Davis. It seems apparent that we aren’t keeping up with some of the other GMs actively looking to improve.

240 available minutes a game.

(very) Conservative estimates -
30 for Giannis
30 for Jrue
30 for Khris
25 for Brook
20 for Bobby
20 for Grayson
15 for Pat
15 for Crowder
Sprinkle minutes for Marjon and AJJ.

People are surprised that players looking to prove themselves on cheap deals aren't lining up to sign here? Like if we signed Drew Eubanks to fill Meyers Leonard's role and Cam Reddish to replace Marjon's minutes people would give Horst a pat on the back for the offseason?

Woj linked us to trying to sign Gordon earlier today. Us and Warriors. Just saying.

Kinda bizarre to go to Suns where he is behind Beal, Booker and Durant. He would be fighting for minutes here with Allen and Beauchamp.

I think Memphis kinda threw Brooks under the bus as a reason for a lot of their issues. But he showed very little maturity and awareness, while also just being plain awful basketball wise too. Houston giving him a large amount of money isn't going to work out for them.

Insulting to Bev frankly. Brooks' overall game fell apart when he put on the pest hat.

Yep. It would seem the most likely scenario is Harden told Philly he wanted a max, they said no, he got the return to Houston rumor floated, Philly called his bluff and dared him to go back there, he came back and said he’d opt in if they trade him to a contender that will also extend him because he realized his rep would take a hit by going back to Houston and missing the play-in.

I was told there would be no math.

That adds up to 10... Players.
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

Did Houston actually offer Harden a max? I assumed they weren't going to and that's what caused the whole opt in and ask for a trade deal.
