Nurse is an incredible game coach. He also did weird things like had Nate Bjorkgren act as a bouncer between him and the rest of the team, and frequently called out players in the media without approaching them first. I don't mind that he was demanding, but there's a larger pool of people that know how to coach a basketball game than there is talented basketball players. If the talent starts losing interest, you just go down the list. Looks like the Raptors have a solid coach.

i like how the driver is rushing around the car to open door for darko but by the time he gets there darko has already gotten in and closed the door.

Front office has made some mistakes the past couple of years but the hiring of this coaching staff might turn out to be their best move. Darko and Jama are two coaches that are heavily regarded when it comes to developing players. There will be lots of minutes to be had next year with Fred leaving. It will be a good opportunity to take a look at some young players next year.

I was looking for the appropriate thread to post this, and boom. This sold me on Darko, and the fit of our players. I don't think we'll be taking more 3s than last year, but I think we'll definitely shoot a better % and generate better looks more consistently.

Well also be driving more and attacking more, Schroder fits into that as well.

I wish Sergio could come over as Darko's lead assistant. We need that one veteran assistant who's got years of experience. So far the group of assistants named is a bit underwhelming

I liked so much of what I was hearing but wondered how will low IQ guys like Achiuwa and Boucher play in his offense. But then the narrator addressed that exact point, said there'll be fewer "bonehead" plays by those two. Very encouraging video.

Decent video but feel like he's looking at it through rosy colored glasses a few times in assuming all his areas of expertise we will see improvement. Take that got me was saying we wont see bone headed plays from Boucher and Achiuwa this season. If Darko manages that he's the GOAT player development coach

Also think he's completely wrong on Darkos policies on turnovers. Darko has said he's okay with certain kinds if turnovers because it's means your moving the ball and taking certain risks. Feel like Nurse was okay with Fred and Siakam pounding the ball because those were low turnover plays, which is why we had one of the lowest turnover rates km the league
