Dinwiddie: great backup for Dame
O’Neale: fits Spos style and probably a better starter at the 4 than we’ve had in awhile
Collins: young center with size who can hit 3s and block shots. Could start next to Bam if Spo wants.
McDermott: fills the need/want of a specialist off the bench.
There’s some solid pickups here

We are 1.9 away from super tax. O’Neale’s contract could be another life line to add more vet mins

Pretty sure Dinwiddies contract is too big to take back

My guess is Dame and Royce ONeal
O’Neale makes a ton of sense cause we could drop his salary and save 7.5 million off the cap by 7/10
You think we’re cutting a player like that if we were able to get him along with Dame? I’d be very shocked but I guess it’s up to Mickys pockets. He said he’d pay for a roster like this though

Is this Spurs thing legit or board speculation? Haven’t really seen anything about a 4 team trade.

Miami - Dame, Royce
SA - Nurkic, Brk 2nd
Nets - Herro, Boucher
Toronto - Lowry
Portland - Cam Thomas, Caleb, Jovic, Otto Porter (buy out), Thad Young (buy out), 2 1st and 2 2nd round picks from us, 1 pick from Brk
Cut Toronto out. I’d sooner have a hemorrhoidectomy than deal with Masai Ujiri.

Feel like SA going to want picks to take Duncan and Nurkic. Feel like it’ll be a one or the other. I’ve seen they want to add a C next to wemby and Nurk fits that very well

Yeah when we are at the 2nd apron line it would make sense. It’s not smart to cross the line even if you have the pockets to do it. Plenty of players we can sign for vet min JaMychal Green comes to mind

There remains a strong belief than I’m gonna get fleeced and fired and my wife is going to leave me for Rob Pelinka.

we looking good, finally a player with sense to demand Miami. He's gonna be rewarded big time, and have a lot of fun here and make memories,
a few years from now, Dame will say "I wish I did it sooner"

Re: Miami Heat Offseason Thread 7.0: 3ammy vs Cronin, Winner Takes Dame!!
Ok Guys I've got some updates: Sauccee Nuggets time.
What I was told, There are 2 seperate 3 team frameworks put together.
Framework, 1 is with Brooklyn With Herro heading there. (Portland is still not sold on it, they are adament about getting Nurk going out, however neither Miami or Brooklyn is willing to absorb.
Framework, 2 is with San Antonio, however its different, SA has enticed Portland taking their young guards for 2 FRP's & 3 SRP's, with Portland then keeping Herro in the deal. This is something that they are starting to munch on, they like the picks from SA, plus Herro works since they are sending out their guards.
Philly has an offer in but still unwilling to use Maxie in the trade, also it sounds like Philly is working on a bigger deal with LA Clippers at the moment and aren't as aggressive as other teams.
Rumor is LA Lakers, and Boston would be willing to put in a all or nothing trade package only if Damian Lillard gives them assurances, which is isn't which has pissed off Portland's FO that Lillard isn't cooperating on that front.
The last thing he said, was Miami is still in pursuit as aggressive as ever looking for a possible 4 team Framework to allow Nurk to get absorbed elsewhere, Miami may need to unlock OKC's pick to use this to have somebody help take on the Nurk Deal. They aren't having much luck yet, and everyone is taking advantage knowing Miami is very much looking to get Lillard, so their asking for too much value to help.
This may come down to who blinks first Miami is running out of options, to satisfy Portland's request, at this time they have exhausted any variation of three teamer swap known to man unless a team raises their hand at the last minute.
