Lol Before all this I would have thought the same, but I don’t think it makes sense for either side anymore. For us, I truly believed Spo could have turned him into an all star, or at the very least all
star contender. He’s done everything the Org has asked him to to improve his game thus far, and I think he would have just continued under proper tutelage.

But now…idk. The relationship has soured too much.

You make this sound like Miami can just force POR to do it. You guys need to be patient. July 6th is when deals and trades that have been agreed to can be processed. There's no way of knowing when this can be done but it's only been two days since the request was made. People need to relax and stop getting in their own head about what will or won't happen.

I wouldn't doubt it. I wish we knew what happened with Grant, that would help put the pieces of this puzzle in place. If they signed him to make Dame happy then yeah it was an FU move by Dame to get his friend paid and they would want Grant off the team also since they are rebuilding. Who knows what happened. Maybe they honestly want to keep him, who knows.

Windhorst works for ESPN, hence he hates the Heat. Of course he's going to push the narrative of Dame to Philly.

I’ll never forget Windhorst being pushed as a Heat insider during the LeBron years when he was strictly a mouthpiece for LeBron, any negative stories during that time like the players supposedly asking for Spo to be fired always came from Windhorst. Honestly i feel like theres a stronger possibility Herro remains a Miami Heat than the trade for Dame happening. I want dame bad, And i dont want Herro on the team but the facts remain that many teams have much more to offer than we do.

Hell Utah has a **** load of draft picks and probably the contracts to get Dame to team up with Lauri if that jackass Ainge wants to do it. And Ainge has done trades before as a celtic GM without players consent. He dont give a ****
