He's been saying he's gonna change the game by the time he's retired, he's ripped ant for his eating habits, I haven't seen anything that says that he thinks he's the second banana

thought it was odd too, i get the age thing but Lillard is the same age as Chris Paul when he went to Houston, he'd be one of the most likely players ever to age well with his shooting, he'll probably just not go to the line as much as he gets older

Character wise Towns is clearly less of and issue on and off the court then Ja,but talent wise and possible fit along side ANT give me Ja everyday.

I would role the dice on a trade like that in a heartbeat.

Where do you get this that Towns is comfortable being the second banana?

I’ve laid this out before, but:

1. Towns best season statistically was when Jimmy was here, where he was third on the team in FGA’s. That year, he was the #2 player in the NBA in Win Shares, behind only James Harden.

2. When have we ever heard Towns complain a single word about other players (whether it was Butler or Wiggins or Ant) when coaches attempted to maximize them at his expense? In fact, Towns has been the ultimate company man in every press conference., even when surrounded with some pretty awful teams.

3. Coach after coach has wanted Towns to increase his FGA’s because he was so efficient.

4. Name one other player the league would embrace their team bringing in a player to take his position, right after he won All NBA there? And if you recall, KAT was the one that was working extra hard to feed Gobert at the beginning of the season, to “make him feel comfortable.”

5. Towns is a dork, and sensitive to every bad word he hears about himself. He does not have the connection with the media, or the fans, that Ant has. He thinks the stain on him comes off if the team wins.

1 true that was his best season, the win shares thing is a little misleading though, with Jimmy they were the 3rd seed in the west and after he went down Towns couldn't carry the team at all. They freefalled to out of the playoffs and managed to just squeak in on a tiebreaker over the Nuggets.
2. Last season, dogged on ant seemingly out of nowhere to talk about ants diet
3. Sure doesn't really say anything about the 2nd banana thing though
4.dwade when LeBron was brought in?
5. Also kinda hurts his argument about being a second banana. He's pretty delusional about his game and hasn't improved his weaknesses at all when others like joker, have passed him by

I don't think most people care if a poster makes a joke at the expense of a player or criticizes them in any way... again, a large reason for this board... just a couple of posts above someone criticized Ja. As I said I am not going to stop, I did nothing wrong, you can do as you wish, but half of me wonders if your sensitivity is selective. All the best.

Who made a joke about Ja? I mentioned his being psycho as a good reason to not trade for him. If you made a joke about Ant it would bother me less because I would know it was just in fun. I don't think mocking players is a large reason for the board. It happens of course, but I don't think this forum was created for the purpose of mocking.

Well I think a lot of Wolves fan view KAT in the same light after watching him his whole career and how he's shrunk so many times in big moments not to mention his how he acts with the referees on a nightly bases and the out of touch things he's said recently.

I am not saying Towns is some type of scrub or isn't talented but think his time here should be coming to and end and a clean start is need around Edwards. I wouldn't just trade Towns for cap relief or trash but if you could get something like Morant,SGA,Ingram,Brown...ect and even and older player like Lillard I think all would be a good return and possible better fit for our roster moving forward.
