Love it. Going to be sweet to have him and Russ for the full season.

Re: PlumGod is Back
~24 minutes each for Zu and Plum is perfect. Zu was overused in the beginning of the season and wore down
Zu Pre-All-Star break = 29.4 mpg, minus-1.4
Zu Post-All-Star break = 25.4 mpg, plus+3.0 [team best]
Plumlee = 23 games, 20 mpg, minus-0.0
Zu Pre-All-Star break = 29.4 mpg, minus-1.4
Zu Post-All-Star break = 25.4 mpg, plus+3.0 [team best]
Plumlee = 23 games, 20 mpg, minus-0.0

I agree- it is good to divide up the minutes as both can't play more and still be effective.
I wonder if Zubac will be in some type of trade though- may be to a 3rd team that needs a center in a possible Harden trade

Re: PlumGod is Back
For all the criticisms of our FO and lame duck roster, guys are taking significantly less money to come back. And that’s after only joining the team at ASB. They can’t take that away from us in the new CBA…
With that type of vibe and attitude I’m good with rolling it back and just rooting for the best (whatever our ceiling.)

LOL. As a matter of fact I had looked it up and Plum was minus-0.1 per 100 possessions, therefore he was rounded up to 0.0
so he really IS minus-0.0

Watching the games, he was really solid so I would say it wasnt him.

There's nothing wrong with holding the fort at 0.0. Yes, there are other factors that can bring you down--you can be the best guy on a lousy second unit. It's when somebody's consistently finishing in the red, at the bottom of the team's plus/minus, you gotta wonder if they're the problem. Bleeding points when they're out there.
If EVERYBODY finishes in the plus, that means you won.

Re: PlumGod is Back
Just love this. If our front office and coach are such turds, why do Russ and Plumlee stay for less money?
Per ESPN- “ Plumlee decided to return to Los Angeles despite larger financial offers elsewhere.”

Solid move, glad he's back.. like his game quite a bit
Well-below his true value too. I think Plum' might also value some stability for awhile, after being on multiple different teams the last 3 years, and may just really like the area.
Also for the team, retains that improvement at C that was such a glaring hole all last season till Plum' came in.

IIRC we had a couple of great honeymoon games from Plum when he first arrived. After that he was always super solid, but we also started to get a clear look at his limitations as well. When he stays within his skill set he's great- which he understands (it's also the team's job to maximize him on the floor.) But put him in a position where he has to make on-ball decisions or take a couple of dribbles and the mistakes creep in.

Re: PlumGod is Back
Zubac/Plumlee manning the 5 spot for 48 mins at like 16mil a year total is great value for production
KJM being back 4 and some 3 at his salary is a great deal
Honestly the only blemishes on the Clipper payroll is Morris, Batum, and RoCo all being overpaid and marginal if at all useful. Thankfully theyre all expiring and luck and some finagling maybe something real nice can be brought back using them.

Does this put Zu on the trading block?

Zu is better defensively, Plumlee is better offensively. Spreading their minutes based on the need at that moment on the court will be key
