All the Mo Bomba signing does is show how bad things are for the Sixers. It's rebuild time.

Still young and was good in spurts, what do you not like about him?

Don’t think he’s very good at basketball. Don’t think he’s the worst player in the NBA, but I don’t like wasting roster spots on guys who will only play if you have injuries to your two top centers, which at that point the Sixers would be SOL anyway.

They need wings desperately. They do the same thing every year. Sign a below average backup center who can’t play. Jordan, Harrell, now Bamba.

Agreed, not addressing an area of need.

I don't mind the Bamba sign if it means we can slide Reed to PF if needed and play Embiid/Reed lineups

Maybe Nurse can turn Bamba into what Boucher is.

Terrance Ross scored 50 points one time, there is this little thing called sample size

I've mention Bamba a lot in the past year. He was a trade deadline target for me and someone I thought we should look at for backup C in FA. He's friends with Embiid. I believe they workout together.

I'm also hopeful this move means we try Reed at PF w/Embiid.

Bamba's theoretical shooting also allows you to play him with Reed too

I also suspect that Biid will load manage a lot more this season with the MVP in his hands

so again while Bamba is probably ass...he isn't one of the worst players in the NBA level ass either.

Bamba + no wings makes me think we’re comfortable playing double bigs more often this season.

Terrance Ross also doesn't suck and is (was) a productive bench player like I think Bamba can be. I think he can be more like Drummond and less like Dedmon or Harrell.

Ok now lets focus on a starting PF or three to compliment Embiid and Tobias.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
