It’s a little disingenuous to say a coach is phoning it in because of their press conferences

he was phoning in the press conferences, i didnt mean the entire job. (although it does seem like he was phoning in summer league/rookie development)

I’d say not calling a timeout with 1 second left in an elimination game is phoning it in but that’s just me.

His brother had died days prior to that. Bud said he should've taken one in the post game presser.

I think you could get Mann for a few 2nds. OKC will have a roster crunch again.

Pass on Poku, I doubt he's ever healthy long enough to develop.

I don’t think Mann will go for less than a first but Poku probably gets cut. Poku is a good player, just young, needs another few years to fill out.

A first for Tre Mann would be wild. He's basically just a microwave guy and his numbers are not great. He's great like once every 2 weeks.

I mean he is younger than MarJon so that’ll happen, but he was drafted 18th two years ago. Think he breaks out this year

Should he have been out there coaching then? In your opinion.

You realize its a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation?

No he shouldn't have. But if he doesn't, he knows his job is on the line.

All I was pointing out is that your narrative about mailing in games 4 & 5 is pretty roughshod.

You gonna say he lacks leadership qualities after winning a championship when he doesn't too?

I'd noticed the "small staff" reference, too. Will he actually have a small staff overall? Or is that just summer-league, maybe he doesn't have his full staff present?
