Think the fist step is to try and make some normal regular season games more exciting for fans. But bigger picture is Silver wants to emulate European soccer where teams play for more than one trophy at the end of a long season. I'm kind of excited by it but I have doubts it will catch on.

thats like me describing donte as a Championship level starter.

i mean, he was very heavily involved in that Bucks Celtics series two playoffs ago. Did he just not play this past playoffs?

lol, i get you're trying to be funny but he played 30 minutes per game in the previous finals run and then 24 minutes per game in the ECF last season. do people really not see him as a playoff rotation player anymore?

he was playing minutes but thats because of mazzula, he was basically like their george hill or grayson allen last year

He's a scrappy irritant, not facing the Bucks/Coach Bud in the playoffs this past season probably cost Grant Williams millions of dollars, but he's a solid rotation guy who adds value to a team. I would take him on the Bucks.

I don't even really view the Celtics as a top tier contender anymore. They basically swapped out Smart & Grant Williams for KP. That's a huge win for us. Then you have Horford who is closing in on 40 and Timelord is constantly hurt. Brogdon isn't in the ''guys who defend Giannis'' group, but he's a key guy who is always hurt too.

I could be wrong but the 2024 Celtics will likley be the Tatum & Brown show with a 2nd round ceiling.
