It might just feel like a long time, but this has lasted too long. We have seen the same report for over a week now. Every hour there’s a new tweet about this standoff between him and Portland. They have to get on the same page already.

The C’s have been so cursed going after big name point guards that it makes me nervous, but this move is a no brainer if it gets done.

I do think its disrespectful to not let your guys know whats up.

Smart was blindsided, Danilo was blindsided.

I agree with that and then on the other hand I'm thinking it was Smart that blew up with upper management during the playoffs. Whole thing makes a bit more sense in that light (not just that he did that and got moved out, but sounds like he wasn't on the same page with what they wanted to do - or at least someone wasn't).

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Montrez Harrell on minimum to preserve bigs during the regular season in a kanter-like role would be fine. Byombo, Ish Smith, Watford. Kaminsky or bol bol to replace muscala. Saric, Winslow, obviously Blake.

Oubre would be interesting. The team has had interest in him before too. I could see him getting 10-15 minutes a night here.

Think Oubre only sees himself playing 25-30 at least. I could even see him get close to that but not close enough for him. Think he’ll demand more money also.

OK didn't see any rumor of this on here soo..

Celtics talking about getting Saddiq Bey or J'S Tate and are still trying to trade Brogdon.

The Bucks are trying to get or are close to getting Colin Sexton.

"There is one team that might not be scared to pull the trigger even though he doesn't want to go there. And that's the Boston Celtics. I agree with Kendrick Perkins. Dame does have a relationship with Jayson Tatum... trying to talk to him face-to-face and convince him that Boston can be a good place for him. I consider them the dark horse and the only other horse in the race. But my expectation is Dame ends up in Miami." -- Marc Spears

He doesn't think Brogdon/Timelord package gets it done. It has to include JB.

When asked if he thinks Dame is gonna sit out if he ends up somewhere other than Miami, Spears ends the interview by saying he doesn't think Portland's gonna send Dame to a destination he doesn't want.

I'd imagine Tatum is trying to get Dame to Boston without giving up Brown. Otherwise it's crazy to think they'd allow this to leak with a high possibility that Dame goes to Miami & JB returns

The signing of Porzingus/Porzingas makes me muse about the time we signed Haywood.

I don't want to be in Brad's shoes right now lol. This can get messy if Cs really have interest in Dame. Possible too that Portland FO is just using Cs for posturing and make Miami raise their offer.

that team is supremely talented but would be a chemistry nightmare. that team would require 3 Basketballs.

Brown for Franz Wagner, Suggs and WCJ?

I'd probably do that from Boston's side, but I don't think Orlando would?
