Yeah that sums up Lillard for me as well. If they make the trade cool I'm sure he will be great, but he hasn't exactly been likeable through all this.
All though I agree, you will both 100% forgive him in a heartbeat when he comes here and makes us a juggernaut. Don't kid yourselves. I think Dame has been a complete b*** during all of this and I don't care. He makes us the clear favorites to win the whole thing. That is all I care about.

1. Cs think they can get Dame without including JB
2. JB is openly okay with moving on
I just can't imagine JT would essentially be pushing for JBs departure without him being open to it. That would cause some serious locker room issues.

JB obviously knows Boston and likes it in Boston. Plus, he has major financial incentive to remain in Boston. But with that said, it wouldn't shock me if there's a mutual understanding between Brad & JB on what all the options are moving forward for both sides. JB understands the business side of this about as well as any player out there.
His name has been in trade rumors his entire career. And then there's the whole players union piece.
It's not like JB isn't aware. I mean, even if he signs the big ticket, he's right back to being in trade rumors next summer.

Montrez Harrell on minimum to preserve bigs during the regular season in a kanter-like role would be fine. Byombo, Ish Smith, Watford. Kaminsky or bol bol to replace muscala. Saric, Winslow, obviously Blake.
Oubre would be interesting. The team has had interest in him before too. I could see him getting 10-15 minutes a night here.
Think Oubre only sees himself playing 25-30 at least. I could even see him get close to that but not close enough for him. Think he’ll demand more money also.

Brad never said a word to Danilo or Smart, as a result I tend to think that Brown has no clue either.

I think Oubre could get plenty of burn here, maybe backup minutes at 2, 3, and 4. The money though... hard to convince a guy that scored 20 ppg last year to play for a veterans minimums or close.
