Pitching Matchup
Image RHP- Image Ervin Santana (1-0, 2.57 ERA)

Scouting Report:
Angels: After escaping a third-inning disturbance when he fought his command and gave up two runs, Santana settled into a groove and was in midseason form, shutting down the Rangers on Wednesday. Santana's last of 106 pitches was a 94 mph heater for a strikeout, his sixth. He gave up four hits and a walk for the two earned runs in seven innings, showing a refined slider and changeup to complement his fastball. Great outfield defense saved him at least two runs.

Image LHP- Image CC Sabathia (1-0, 4.50 ERA)

Scouting Report:
Indians: Sabathia didn't have the most efficient of outings in the season opener in Chicago. Then again, he didn't need to. With 11 runs of support at his disposal after three innings, Sabathia was able to relax and breeze through the fourth Opening Day start of his career. He went six innings, giving up three runs on eight hits with a walk and two strikeouts. He surrendered a pair of home runs.

Wednesday Pitchers
LHP- Joe Saunders vs RHP- Jake Westbrook 7:05pm EST
Thursday Pitchers
RHP- Dustin Moseley vs LHP- Jeremy Sowers 1:05pm EST

It's the LA Angels of Anaheim vs. the Milwaukee Indians of Cleveland.

It almost seems like a new season since it has almost been a week since we last played a game. It will be intresting to see how the long break effects the players and does anyone know when Victor is expected back I know that I heard he was day to day but is there any window that he is expected back.

Just looking at the lineup there is a good chance that I will be killing Casey this week if he countiues hitting the way he has been hitting with RISP.

Should I go to the game here in Milwaukee and cheer for all who cant go in Cleveland? let me know... i'd rather cheer for your team than the Brewers.

Sure why not, I doubt alot of Indians fans make the trip. It should be a fun game for the locals. No offense, but no one here is thrilled with this being moved to Milwaukee. Nothing against the city, just disappointing that we throw away 3 home games to play in someone elses ballpark.

I'm attempting to make the trip across the Lake to catch the Wed. game. All fans wearing Indians or Angels gear get in half price. Too bad the jet ferry isn't running yet; turns a 6 hour drive into a 2 hour boat ride.

This season is off to a unique start to say the least...

I long for the days of sitting in my field box, section 138, 6th row, 3rd seat from the aisle..

Yeah it does suck to lose home games. Those making the trip will enjoy Miller Park though, it's great. It will be pretty cold to tailgate though. I may head down for the game tonight or Thursday afternoon.

I cannot express how great it is to see Indians baseball again. Or how great it is to see CC come out mowing guys down and Grady coming out and taking a walk.

I love this team.

Except Casey is batting cleanup....

The good news: Sizemore stole his first base of the season.
The bad news: Casey Blake is Hafners protection and teams will automatically walk Haf all night to get to Casey.

Come on Casey make me eat my words.

Sounds like John Adams is there somewhere pounding his drum. Good to hear he made the trip.

Casey promptly strikes out without even swinging the bat.

I had half-season tickets from 96-99, section 178, 3rd row, two seats on the aisle, right behind the LF foul pole. Prime foul ball territory. Good spot to dump play money on Albert Belle too.

We're suppose to get about 6" of snow in the Milwaukee area tomorrow, Indians will feel at home. Good thing for the roof on Miller Park.

Atleast Jhonny got one of those runs back from that fielding error. It was a hell of a play by Shoppach. Bam and Andy Marte delivers the two run two out double. Great job picking up CC.

CC gets out of trouble in the seventh, gettin Vlad to popout and Anderson to K. I have to give the city of Milwaukee some props. I was against this right off the bat and they've been great. Who knows how many actual Indians/Angels fans are there. It seems like just a group of MLB fans to me. The slow motion wave then into the fast paced wave was pretty funny too. Oh and I think their park is beautiful. Thanks Milwaukee, it's good just to see the Tribe again.
