Harrell can't be traded until Dec 15. It would be better if he just picked up his option then he can be included in a harden deal.

I thought there were certain exceptions to the Dec. 15 rule as in the case of a sign-and-trade.

From what I know, all free agent signings cannot be traded until Dec 15 regardless of the type of the signing.

This is the part where fans desperately try to hope for some rational explanation that will allow them to keep some faith in their GM and eventually will hear the worst rationale for this signing when he eventually speaks. It'll be something like "Well, with Embiid's injury history we always want to keep an extra center on the roster."

The only rationale to re-signing Harrell is as insurance when Embiid eventually misses time and that Reed (assuming he also returns) moves to PF full time. Other than that, it's a total waste of a roster spot.

The only thing that would make any sense is if they packaged Reed in a sign and trade...

Maybe packaging some combo of Reed, Melton, House and Furkan for a starting caliber SF?

Who the F knows what this GM is doing

Sign and trade Reed , Melton and Korkmaz for a starting SF.

Tobias to 4 and Tucker to back up off bench.

It doesn’t make sense even if Reed left. Harrell was maybe the worst player in the NBA last season. They’d be better off playing Pat Bev at center.

Harden hated passing to Reed, so maybe this is another way to make his boy happy and get rid of Reed.

there is no rationale to bringing back Trez beyond it technically saved money after he opted out and its doing him a favor

he is no longer an NBA player..so even if the idea is to S&T Reed...its a terrible use of a roster space...

Well, yea...I'm just trying to figure out what the fraud is thinking here. I wouldn't sign Trez at any cost.

It seems obvious to me that they only want to give Reed a one year deal and he wants a multi year deal.

The fraudster has whined how it's hard to get free agents to come here and now he thinks he's going to get one or two stars next year?

Daryl should really be ashamed of himself. Just a very lazy, piss poor amateur hour offseason so far.
always a jump shot away.

C'mon yo ! We acting like Reed Really that good tho...

I think Mo Bamba wins the back up 5 job. Also Tobias and Tucker should be the 4 depth.

I'd look to move reed ,Korkmaz and Melton for a starting wing.

Reed was really good in the playoffs IMO but regardless its less so about Reed and moreso that Trez is not playable anymore

Bamba also sucks.....dude didn;t get minutes on a Lakers team desperate for center play ffs.

When they signed DeAndre Jordan, the takes were "Can't criticize Morey, this was Doc's signing, he was throwing him a bone." Two years later, it's evident Morey just has a thing for awful washed up centers.

Can't hide behind Doc Rivers being behind these moves anymore.
