absolutely that's such an easy decsion.

It is ...

.... Fultz at 20 milly lol

annnnnd to a certain degree.... i still wouldn't mind... because fultz would kill it on the bench. assuming he got bumped in the first place.

no chance, you take the guard that can shoot the basketball has already shown he can boss that 6th man spot and be moved much easier later down the line if you need him.

I really hope this FO let's Fultz test FA because I don't see him getting much more then 15M AAV and that might even be a stretch.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

You can barely survive with one Fultz aka a lead ball handler who can’t/doesn’t shoot threes.

I certainly wouldn’t want two of them which is what the Magic would have if Black’s scouting report weaknesses manifest.

There’s like a near 0.0% chance of Fultz and Black being able to share the floor at any point in the near future.

If Black turns out to be a non-shooter 2-3 years down the road, he was the wrong pick.

But you’re right, I wouldn’t expect them to share the floor much this upcoming season.

Looks like Threads might hit 100 million followers by tomorrow and pass Twitter next week sometime.

Knightro wrote:Cole had some of the most severe splits in wins and losses of all the regular rotation players last year.

In wins: 14.3 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 4.3 APG on a .634 TS%
In losses: 11.9 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 3.6 APG on a .516 TS%

Gary Harris also had very severe splits. When he made shots, the Magic typically won.

Fultz actually had reverse splits and played better in losses than wins.

Hasn't that been Cole's MO...last year it wasn't as extreme...but it use to seem like he either shot 80% or 10%...need more 50-60% FG games.

I mean these user numbers are more than a bit skewed by Meta tying it directly to everyone's existing Instagram and making it where you can automatically follow and be followed by your entire IG lists.

We'll see if it actually gets used at a high level or not.

Thats one of the most frightening thing with Fultz. The more he is engaged with the offense the worse we are. I think we won only 2 games he scored 20+ points. I hope our front office analytical models are glowing red.
Last season we needed Cole scoring. Suggs was benefiting playing offball. This year the dynamic will be different with Ingles but also Black and Howard.
Cole will have a lot of problems playing more off ball. He couldnt do it in the past efficiently.
In the end i think its not choosing between Cole and Fultz and both will not be extended or signed and traded.
Suggs has more value as wing defender. If he shoots at least average he could come from the bench and end games agaisnt some opponents.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

You still need to sign up. It doesn't automatically sign your followers up. They'll probably have a billion sign ups by the end of the year. Twitter has 200 million, and a lot of those are bots.

Threads still need to improve they way you can share a more descriptive link and have a search feature for trending topics. I think they will. They rolled it out early since Twitter was currently having so many problems.

The funny thing is that some won't join Threads because you can see the real amount of followers they have. On other platforms, they buy bots to follow them. Plus, you can't have a bunch of hateful and racist speech.

The real litmus test is RealGM has 160k followers on Twitter and 203 on Threads. Let's wait and see if that changes.

You don't actually have to "sign up" in the traditional sense though. You aren't making a brand new account with a new username and 0 followers.

If you download the app, it imports all your information and IG contacts taking one of the more painful processes (growing a following) completely out of the mix.

The real test is determining how many people actually use it versus who just signed up for the novelty of it.

I understand that, but all that leg work already being done in advance (username, automatic built in followers) makes all of those traditionals barriers of entry non-existent.

It's just not what you're describing it to be.

This is not a traditional social media platform made from scratch. This is essentially a Twitter add on for existing Instagram users. Completely different thing.

I do think they tied it to your Instagram to initially get millions of users quickly. Eventually, I do think they'll separate them.

You do have to download it and put it in your Instagram username and password.

RealGM has 1072 Instagram followers and 212 Threads followers.

I don't understand why you're so argumentative about this

I signed up for Threads already and the process was as automated as it gets. Automatically populates your existing IG username and password. Automatically follows all your existing IG follows. Automatically requests all the people following you to be your follower on Threads. Thread links within all Instagram profiles.

Threads is, for all intents and purposes, a Twitter add on to Instagram.

To suggest it's this brand new social media platform that's exploding with unprecedented growth is just not really an accurate representation of what it is.

And besides that, the real test isn't how many people sign up - my wife for instance who never once used Twitter in her life signed up for Threads just because of the hype - it's how many people will be actively using it on the daily basis.

Will it replace Twitter as the real time/second screen during live event/news breaking social media platform? Time will tell.

I truly have nothing personal against Fultz. If he starts taking threes this year at an acceptable volume and making them, I will be the very first person calling for him to get a new contract.

But I also want the Magic to succeed. I want them to win games. I want them to make deep playoff runs and ultimately I want them to compete for NBA championships.

I simply don't believe that it's possible with the way the NBA is currently played where teams on average attempt over 32 threes per game to have a successful offense or a contending caliber team when your lead ball handler doesn't take or make threes.

It's literally nothing beyond that.
