I know you're trying to be cute but that was an assault. Dude should definitely be fired.

No, it wasn't. He literally put his arm out to stop her from touching Wemby. Y'all are soft as hell. It's literally his job to stop people from running up and touching Wemby. You softies trying to make a mountain of a mole hill are sad

You just don't understand what you're talking about.

It is specifically assault and battery.

You literally have no clue what you're talking about. If it was assault and battery there would have been charges. I actually know more about this than you probably do due to my line of work. Stick to moderating online forums dude. You don't know Jack

Are you a lawyer? I am. And if you think that's how charges work you definitely are not.

Any competent lawyer wouldn't go spouting off about how them being a lawyer means their opinion is fact especially given the widely varied types of lawyers there are. Like I said, stick to moderating forums dude.

Oh didn't you just tell me how your profession meant you knew what was going on? So go ahead, what is it? You were so ready to pull that card a moment ago.

Why did Wemby clearly lie about Britney grabbing him and wrapping her arms around his waist from behind, when that clearly didnt happen? What was the point of that?

For being a lawyer you sure do have a lot of time to whine on a thread about Wemby and Britney during the daytime. Shouldn't you be working?

I'm a litigation consultant btw, since you're so desperate to know. I'm sure you're a lawyer who specializes in celebrity security detail suits though, right?

Then Spears' guards should be as well given they said this was standard response to such situations and it would not be uncommon for them to respond this way?

She was hit and it's bad she was hit but security context plays an important role here.

I've seen far worse at film festivals and concerts from security. They're very rough once any reach is made. That's not to minimize the impact on Spears but to highlight the security response is fairly consistent.

He never said that, you interpreted that from his hand movements. All he said was someone grabbed him from behind not his shoulder which was true

I didn't hear about her wrapping her arms around him, though there was a guy to his left in red pants who did just that just after Spears got hit. Wemby had his back to the whole thing. He said what he felt. We also don't see a side view that would show any touch impact just from the back with a guy in the way at times.

She clearly did not grab him. That was a lie. And he made the hand gesture as a way to show how he was grabbed. Imagine being so fanned out to the point where being intentionally obtuse and denying clear video footage is a thing.

he said he was grabbed, he didnt say who grabbed him just that he kept walking which the video footage showed

Exactly...people misremember details all the time, especially in stressful, random situations like that. And his friggin back was turned. He probably told what he thought he recalled. I guarantee he was not purposely lying or being deceitful. Some people on this board just want to make drama out of everything, I swear

His exactly quote:

"I didn't see what happened, because I was walking straight and we were told, 'Don't stop,'" Wembanyama said. "But that person grabbed me from behind -- not on my shoulder, she grabbed me from behind -- and so I just know the security pushed her away."

I mean sure he could be just telling what he recalled, but the interview wasn't done like a minute after the incident. You would think he has enough time to think it through before making that statement.

I mean the bolded part says it all. It would be one thing if he said he saw her doing all this, he felt someone grab him from behind but he kept walking, he assumed it was her. Not that hard to figure out

Wait wat? I'm not a lawyer like you but I thought Assault and Battery had two parts, first the Assault which would be to threaten Brittany with harm and then the Battery which would be following through with the threat and physically harming her. I don't recall reading anything about them threatening her.

Misremember details? You call other people soft, yet you think that was a stressful situation? And I would love to know how you could guarantee he wasn't purposely lying or being deceitful. On second thought, no I wouldn't. Nice avi by the way.
