So if we are wise and knowledgeable we will be miserable.

Suffering is the human condition, the more life you have experienced the more you have suffered. So would say this is accurate... sad but true.

I am sure this is tounge in cheek, but if you live long enough, you travel enough and see the world you will see suffering and experience loss, it isn't something you can really insulate yourself from, it comes with the territory of a life well lived . Sports is a part of that, Minnesota knows better than most, but Wisconsin has higher suicide rates for a reason...

If I want the real life suffering, I go to CNN, ABC, and Reuters. If I want delusional fantasy I hit Fox and OAN. This is realgm, so everything is going to have a basketball and fantasy basketball spin to it. I am not a real GM but did stay in a Holiday Inn last week.

@minimus had a great comeback to my promise land reference in a good way. Let's not spinal this conversation into war in Ukraine suffering and how Putin is controlling the NBA via North Korea and how they put Dennis Rodman in as next Commissioner ( yes, I do watch ONA).

I twice write a long set up to slam the Packers because you mentioned them and you keep wanting to make things political. It was a joke, a serious social commentary, to hide the incoming punchline. Not my intention, not my desire to fight the battle over which lies are best. I don't think we should like any of them. Happy 4th!
recent No. 1 overall picks Victor Wembanyama, Paolo Banchero and Cade Cunningham and All-Stars Anthony Edwards and Trae Young will be part of the broadcast.

I feel like a lot of the older heads in the league probably aren't in favor of the tournament, which is why they're using the next generation to promote it. Trae Young is the oldest at 24...
Also, funny that ESPN forgot Edwards was a No. 1 pick too....
