There is something to gain by watching summer league. To say it is useless really misses the point of summer league and leaves you with one less tool in your toolbox when analzying players.

Though, maybe it isn't relevant to this board [as you guys are all about players pre-NBA] while the summer league is best as a tool for analzying players in the NBA.

You keep saying there's something to gain. What is it? I've been watching SL for years and learned that most of my takes were almost always overreactions.

That probably means your takes are the problem, not summer league.

Him going in the 40s was a joke. Teams would rather punish the kid for being immature than do their jobs

Hard to be too unhappy if youre a POR or HOU fan right now. Both dudes look like what they were advertised to be. Scoot looking like an athletic PG with a raw jumper. Amen looks like a fantastic athlete with great size but really raw.

Yeah he turned it around for sure. I want to be wrong about Jabari, I'm a rockets fan, but that second half was what I was scared of since they said he'd be in SL
Edit: obviously meant first, not second lol

Was supposedly a long term concern not a short term one and not the biggest reason he fell. Nova head coach hated him

Probably no more scoot and Amen for the rest of SL. Getting bubble wrapped after getting hurt I think

Both Whitmore and Amen were listed at 6'7'', right?

There's no way Whitmore is 6'7'' then. More like 6'5''.
