I will say that the game seemed incredibly over-reffed. A lot of ticky tack stuff getting called. I recall a few on Gortman that I thought were absolutely ridiculous. Majon was horrendous in the first half, but it felt like we just let Nico Mannion and Tacko run 2 man game. Insane. Gortman showed something, and was a willing effort defender. The coaching staff has to give Tacko's minutes to Timme I think. I don't know why Mannion is getting run like he is our first round pick, either.

Only reason I can come up with to play Mannion is they consider him to be a solid SL PG who can bring some organization.

Maybe next game they just let Gortman get loose so they can get an extended look at him.

Something has to be brewing, we wouldn’t be giving him that much burn unless it’s a favor to an agent or we have plans for him being on our roster in the near term

Instead of going with 'Coffee Black', how about... and let this simmer for a minute...

Mannion had a nice game, but he’s not fun to watch. At all.

This feels like the obvious explanation. He’s the only player they trust to be a PG at the moment. Also don’t really get the hate; not sure Nico is an NBA player but he was pretty good today.

Surprising but unsurprising that no local media has asked about Golden State's rights. Are they afraid they're going to be told its illegal to ask that? Someone get Charles F. Gardner on the case.

**** me that was encouraging. We've got some young dudes. Weird that Moore didn't get much of a go though.

Can't play 20 guys every game. Tomorrow night Geeen and others will get some burn.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I get that to an extent but no reason we needed to play Mannion 28 minutes, Randall 14 minutes, Cook 24 minutes or Tacko at all. Would rather see guys that might actually contribute for us.

Tbh I'd rather see him play the role he's more likely to play in the NBA, I wanna see how he does as a spot shooter, that's by far my most pressing question with him
