Pistons-Magic #1 (Summer League)
I'm excited. One good thing about the NBA is that it is continuing. Right after The Finals, draft, free agency, and now the start.
5:30 pm ESPN. If you don't have cable, a quick search (especially filtering LIVE) will find you something to see the game. I think highlights are misleading.

I’m excited. Seeing Amen play fairly well bodes well for Ausar.
I’ve really sold myself on the pick post draft and want to see some glimpses to confirm the excitement.
With a good attitude, hard work ethic, and Monty to develop him, I think Ausar can be a very important piece of the puzzle.
I’m also looking forward to Sasser.

Re: Pistons-Magic #1 (Summer League)
After seeing Amen, I'm very curious to see how close their games are. It's really too bad he's injured and probably out for the rest of Vegas, right before the brothers were to play next week. I'm curious to see how 3 and D Sasser is right now.
Jaden Ivey, Jalen Duren, Isaiah Livers, James Wiseman and Thompson should dominate.. And how many games are the veterans going to play? Omoruyi is listed but that was before we cut him. I wouldn't be surprised if he's not still on the roster.

Ivey is going to look good. That’s my guess. Dude looks locked in.

We should destroy teams if we’re playing everyone. Wiseman will probably play all the games but not the others

I love that high character, “gym rat” mentality.
There’s enough of the young guys that have the passion to improve that it should carry over to everyone on the team.

Jaden Hardy drove into his chest and almost knocked him back 10 feet. Chets still very skilled though inside and out.
Guys like Wemby and Chet are gonna be hitting a brick wall against Duren.

Their passing is underrated.. And they can both block 3-pters without fouling. If they are healthy, they will both be fine players. But they need to just play guys. I think playing intermittent basketball might be a cause for all these injuries. So many all-stars missed playoff games, despite the load management. Mikal Bridges and Saddiq Bey never ever missed games, and they're fine. One would think by chance/probability they would have an injury by now, but nope. Maybe it's too much for a body to turn it on, turn it off, turn it on, etc.. at that level.
Wemby says he doesn't want to gain weight, which might be good, and he'll just have to improve his 3pt shot. His teammates certainly hardly took advantage when he had a little guy on him. I don't know why he doesn't just shoot, instead of waiting for the help after pounding the basketball.

Ivey with a couple turnovers to start the game due to loose ball handling...

Not used to seeing Jarrett Jack on the sidelines coaching. I remember watching this guy light it up before the Warriors became the Warriors for them

Rough start. Ausur looks very active defensively. One nice block and forced a steal.

Re: Pistons-Magic #1 (Summer League)
At first break:
Ivey too loose with the ball. Prior threads mention he may be tasked with trying to shoot- seems to be the case.
Sasser is confident. First shot looked great. Second one, hope he did get fouled and just not called.
Ausar is a hustler. He’s flying.
Defensively, we look engaged. Everyone hustling. Couple of lapses, but I don’t think in effort.
