Just couldn't rebound against their bigs. Like how our draft picks looked along with Kevon and Houston.

Jett needs to be more aggressive. But he showed the playmaking that sets him apart from Gradey and Jordan

You know... when someone will say you got 4 6'7-6'8 guys with one 6'10 big lineup, you would imagine that team to dominate the inside.lol

Jett's weaknesses seem to be speed related. Slow first step, lack of agility.

Jett showed a lot I liked actually.

Areas of improvement: Inside finishing/burst, defensive lapses

Black was a dog!

Not bad at all for a Detroit team playing guys who will play 20-30 minutes this year

AB the only top 10 pick with 50%+ shooting performance for their first game? Not sure anyone would have taken that bet

We should have let them dribble it out.

Go Magic, Go Dwight, Go Vuc, Go Paolo, Go Keegan :)

Not a bad showing considering this is Detroit’s real NBA squad minus Cade… and that isn’t much of an exaggeration

He’s really good going to the basket. I could see him being the PG of the future, but I’m not sure where he is getting minutes this season to develop without someone getting injured

I expect Black to have a pretty high TO level this season, but after a proper training camp and preseason I think he’ll be better able to anticipate where his teammates will be.

I’m really impressed with how he picked up his points too. If he stays that selective he could be very efficient.

Honestly - Black is very Fultz-like.

Have they always credited step-on-the-line turnovers to the passers though? I think AB got 2 of those.. I think one was an actual kind of bad pass though, but I always see those attributed to the other player in the NBA

The Pistons were too dominant on The Boards and they pretty much had their whole NBA Team playing.

The Magic probably were going to sit everyone after 2-3 games so no Summer League Title anyway.

I liked what I saw from Anthony Black, Jett Howard, Kevon Harris and Caleb Houstan. I think everyone is going to really come around to this Draft.

Black will look better with more talented teammates. His defense is going to get him 20 mpg this season.
