Black in top 100 for now. They'll do a re-shuffle after the draftees all sign. So this will probably be short lived. 5 guys in the top 100 currently.

Hottest two names linked to us in the lead up are Waldrep and Bradfield. Neither would sit good with me.

The Brewers are a very model heavy team and for the most part it's been very successful for them. I haven't really studied anyone in depth too much but I trust them to make solid picks tonight

I agree to an extent. The model has created quite a few log jams at certain spots. I do agree they most likely won't go HS in Rd. 1. In the last 10 years theyve only gone HS 3 times with their first pick. Last one being Turang in 2018.

If we draft Bradfield, we should've just kept Esteury Ruiz. Don't really want light hitting players anymore. I want power with gap to gap hitters.

We probably would have kept Ruiz except for the fact we got offered a 24 year old All Star Catcher and a Relief Pitcher for him

Saw this on Bleacher the other day, and the Brewers are one of the teams on the bottom of drafting hitters drafted 2012-2022.

Definitely no surprise from 2012-2018 they basically drafted no good hitters. But they've been on a pretty nice run recently with guys like Mitchell, Turang, Wiemer, & Frelick

Any chance Brewers role the dice on high school Nimmala or Houck if they fall to us?

I doubt they go HS. It would go wildly against the TJ model.

Board not looking good to go against a Bradfield/Waldrep pick.
