Victor Wembanyama Bounces Back In 2nd Summer League Game With 27 Pts, 12 Reb, 3 Blk

Victor Wembanyama bounced back from a disappointing opening game with the San Antonio Spurs on Friday with a strong performance on Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Wembanyama had 27 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks while shooting 9-for-14 from the floor.

"I wish we could have won the game," Wembanyama said. "I think I could have done more to help my team win the game. We got to keep learning. We haven't been playing our best for like three quarters. Then in the fourth quarter, we were really dominating. It shows the personality of the team.

"I think personally, it's normal to get better every game. Two days ago was my first game."

Wembanyama went 2-for-13 from the floor on Friday.

I’m already tired reading about Wemby after two SL-games.

I cannot imagine what it must be for him to have every sneeze and fart reported on for the next twenty years. Poor guy.

I know. It's getting to the point that they will start making stories up just to keep talking to him if there's no new basketball reports to talk about. It will be like this for a whole year. Eventually they will talk down on the Spurs if his season is anything but ideal.

Well, it's been like that with LeBron for the last 20, at least we might get some different smelling farts now. Maybe some Dijon farts.

Last I checked Lebron is still playing and will be the biggest name in the league next year the year after and probably till he retires.. Wemby has the skillset to be the goat but even if he does he wont ever be a mj or lbj type figure because people see the shorter as more relatable even though they arent really that short alah MJ and steph.. I hope Wemby becomes the greatest though if he does would be great to watch
