Victor Wembanyama Out For Remainder Of Summer League After Two Games

Victor Wembanyama will not play in any additional Summer League games with the San Antonio Spurs.

Wembanyama made his debut on Friday and played again on Sunday. Wembanyama played far better on Sunday, scoring 27 points to go with 12 rebounds and three blocks.

Wembanyama finished his French season in June to close a busy 12-month schedule.

After seeing what happened to Chet in a meaningless game last offseason it's probably the smart thing to do.

Wemby looked good yesterday but it's also obvious he needs some work in the weight room.

I'm surprised they let him play the 1st game. However, he let all that rust and nerve go and really balled out with a group of guys trying to make a roster spot. Wemby has a bright future. Get him in that gym, bulk up, and practice and study film. I can see him doing 22pts /11 rbpg /2 blocks per game.
