AJJ is going to be so good with players that actually know what they are doing out there. He sees passes 3 steps in advance and has excellent potential as a facilitator. I love watching him play so far. The chase down blocks are a nice bonus. Definitely the anti-Nwora.

Outscored 34-6 in the 3rd quarter so far lol

I know this is only summer league and that makes this next statement ridiculous (for now) but I hope Griffin isn't so defensive oriented that he forgets we gotta get buckets, too.

Can Timme shoot at all? Is there "Bobby replacement in 2 years" potential there?

I think some of you guys may have slightly overhyped a will be 23 year old 2nd year player. Not saying he won't be a rotational player this year, but it was a hell of leap of faith for all these projected rotations I've seen lately with him slotted as a starter. He's shown close to nothing to show he is ready for regular minutes.

I'm hoping that's where Terry stotts can help.

Impressions after three SL games: I remain skeptical of Marjon. The jumper still doesn't look good (release seems way too early) and I don't think he has the handle yet to get to the rim against NBA competition. Beyond scoring, I don't know what he does well. There are moments in man defense, but they're inconsistent, and he doesn't really rebound well, pass well, or create any turnovers on defense.

I appreciate the Ajax's enthusiasm, but I just don't see any route to playing time as he's a complete non-threat as a scorer. He's such a non-threat that it completely negates any value that may come from his passing. It'd be like playing 4-on-5 on offense with him in the game. And you can't sub him into the game for literally anybody and continue running the same offense. You'd have to completely rework the offense to fit his game.

And to round out the negative takes, what does Chris Livingston do well? He's like an amalgamation of every random Summer Leaguer ever. Just a dude. Clutch better repay that favor right quick.

Boy, if the Bucks are counting on MarJon to be a 30% usage primary option this year, they're going to be in a lot of trouble!
