Is there a path for us to get PJ Washington? Brogdon to. LAC PJ S&T, Powell. to Charlotte?

There are still multi-team Ayton scenarios that work, too.. (not for PJW)

Nope. S&T would hard-cap us. Unless you’re getting PJ at very cheap contract which is unlikely cos Hornets would just match.

You don’t mind, but Blake does. He said he wanted a role on a team, and he won’t get that here.

Where did he say that?

Also, he has no contract yet with any team, so he might have to just take what he can get - unless he wants to have a bigger role on a European team.

It won’t be long until he’s out of the league. Couple more years and he’ll be useless and even more out of shape

Really thought we were going to get some Celtics news tonight. Between JB extension, Grant trade, Porzingis extension, Brogdon trade. Really thought one of them would have been complete tonight. Brad Stevens must be cooking up something special.

Is it just me or is that offer terrible? What is likely a late 1st, a little bit of rotational youth and thats it?

It might be a little light. But it's also 4 rotation players + a 1st round pick. 3 of the rotation players are still pretty young - the other has been a starter in this league for a few years now..

Would Boston want to get in on this trade? Maybe sending Brogdon to Toronto so they get a point guard with experience, and we get Hield? Any interest?

I see you, Saddiq..

Wouldn't hate it if we traded for him with the Grant TPE..

Toronto got Schroder. If they make this trade for Nembhard, they probably won't have any interest in Brogdon. Plus they still have Flynn as a 3rd stringer..and use Barnes quite a bit as a Point Forward..

Why?

Cs need a PG more than a SG who's a terrible defender.

Cs just traded Smart.

So White and Brogs are now very important pieces.

Ever since the Porzingis trade, and even moreso after the Grant trade, this has really felt incomplete. Add to that the JB thing dragging out, I think you're right, Brad's got to be working on something pretty big. Particularly intriguing is Brown not being extended yet. Brad has been a pretty dynamic POBO so far.

Jake says there's a "mutual understanding" between Jaylen's camp and the Celtics that an extension will happen and that Brogdon is still on the market

Once JB is extended, it will be something pretty much nothing.

I’m not a fan of super maxing Brown, myself, but it is more likely than not.

Agree.

JB is not deserving of a supermax.

I also think the Cs are better off making a move during the season.

It's best if the Cs let this roster play for a couple of months then make adjustnents on or before the trade deadline.
