Did Wiggington start this one? He was a bucket last summer. Might be auditioning for the NBL or something this summer, though. Or perhaps it was Mamu’s gravity that allowed him to flourish…

Wigginington did start but still doesn’t look like an nba level player to me. He is on a two way contract with us, no idea why.

I wonder whose kid Nico Mannion has tied up in his basement.

Yeah when I checked the box score this morning. I noticed zero points for Beauchamp. Yeesh.

Wonder if part of our agreement with GS has to do with why he is playing so much. Burn the tape from that game, horrendous.

Griffin ran a starting 5 with a frontline of Marshon, AJJ and Livingston. This was a throw sht at the wall and see what sticks sort of game. Pure catnip for posters inclined to be miserable.

Nico looked decent in the first game, but has been the arguably the worst player in summer league since. Currently boasting shooting splits of 28/5(!)/62 on way too high a volume. I've seen enough of Nico and LIndell. I'd give Gortman and Moore the PG reins from here on out.

They still fought hard first half, it was tied at half time. Marjon was just completely off and Nico was pretty bad on both sides of the court.

If anyone saw that play with Green bringing the ball up which sparked a series of quick passes and then a bucket. Green is high IQ and makes the O so much better.

What is our agreement with GS? We're playing Mannion, what are we getting in return? Are they giving us his rights? Regardless, he sucks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Mannion **** sucks and it's weird as hell that he was ever such a highly rated recruit in the first place. He's PG Cam Reddish without the physical tools and size/athleticism combo.....so basically without the only thing that made Cam Reddish draftable.

In these situations I always look to see who the agent is. Don't know if that means anything in this case tho.

I've got no idea, but if I had to guess how this came to be;
1. GS wasn't going to tender him at all and changed their mind after we somehow got involved
2. GS probably wanted him back for their summer league team, but at that point, maybe GS said it made more sense for him to stay with us if he gets X minutes a game so they can have tape to evaluate
3. We have some kind of conditional deal in place with GS to trade for him that is waiting for something else to happen or for us to agree to the compensation on our end...i.e. We will toss you a second for him if we like him enough, if not you can have him back. Which would be somewhat reasonable if they were on the fence about keeping him or not

It's odd, but at this point it seems pretty clear he won't be in the NBA for the next couple of seasons.

I’ll bet the Zion diet eats like 10 pop tarts a day.

The first pass here is lowkey the craziest pass I've seen all summer by far. His touch dropping these skip passes over the top of a defense is genuinely weird to me, like if I was playing a video game and the computer made that pass I'd be like oh **** off.

Again, anyone thinking he's not a point guard is weird.
