Still a long way until the pre season. Thinking can we do an exercise after the draft where we evaluate a team, predict their stats, and rate the moves done by the GM? Of course not ours, we can randomize who analyzes who. As objective as possible and for RO's sake, a subjective one liner at the end to say whatever you want
What do you think?

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 10
I will do my own thing since I can't trust anyone being objective towards my team.
Draft: N/A
Moves: Done a few, in the end basically swapping Lebron James and Stephen Curry for OG Anunoby, Fred VanVleet, Derrick White, Bojan Bogdanovic and Kelly Olynyk.
I think that's a great haul depth wise and getting younger at the same time. Best feature is availability in fantasy and both Lebron and Curry are lacking in that in the past years, not to mention Lebron has probably 2 years left in his career.
Overall it's a good move to abandon the ship before it sinks.
Stats predictions(I nailed most of these last year so feel free to **** off if you think I'm being unrealistic):
Tyrese Haliburton: 24/4/11/1.8/0.6..50/88 shooting splits, 3.2 3's and 2.7 turnovers
- I mentioned earlier about Hali, he's in the need to make an All NBA team if not he loses 50+ million on his max contract. He will come in firing at all cilinders.
Already averaged 20.8 ppg and 10.4 apg last year, most of the percentages, 3's, defensive stats and turnovers were exactly the same I am predicting for next year. Totally doable and frankly probable.
Fred VanVleet: 22/5/7/1.8/0.7...41/89 shooting splits, 3.5 3's and 2.2 turnovers
-New team for Fred, same chucking mentality. Basically same stats as last year, a little more points because he has less offensive options on his team than in Toronto.
Mike Conley: 13/3/5.5/1.2/0.2...44/86 shooting splits, 2.5 3's and 1.4 turnovers
- Old reliable. Scored more but assisted less in Minny than in Utah last year, I see that trend maintaining itself with secondary playmakers like Ant/Anderson/Towns playing alongside him. Undisputed starter in Minny, complimentary piece at this point.
Stats a little worse than what he did as a Minnesota player last year but still decent.
Derrick White: 15/4/6/0.8/1.1....45/86 shooting splits, 2.2 3's and 1.3 turnovers
- Finally Smart out of his way, starting job is his permanently. Stats a little better than last year because of more minutes coming his way and a few more touches. Also he gets more blocks than steals for a guard which is rare.
Malcolm Brogdon: 15/4/4/0.8/0.4...49/87 shooting splits, 2.2 3's and 1.4 turnovers
6th man of the year, these are his numbers from last year which I'm banking on him repeating. These are Boston projections, if he gets traded to Phoenix or Clippers like rumored this summer numbers are going up.
Malaki Branham: 14/3/2/0.8/0.3...46/84 shooting splits, 1.5 3's and 1.2 turnovers
Still a pup but will see a good role off that Spurs bench and will start when Pop rests guys. IIRC, had better stats than these last year as a starter, but as averages I think these are fair numbers. He already averaged 10/3/2 as a rookie for the season.
OG Anunoby: 19/7/3/2.2/0.9...47/84 shooting splits, 2.4 3's and 2.2 turnovers
All summer talks are him and Barnes being featured next year. With VanVleet gone, a lot of shots are up for grabs.
These would be marginal improvements from last year. Projections with Siakam. Without Siakam, numbers are going up.
Jimmy Butler: 23/6/5/1.9/0.4...52/85 shooting splits, 0.8 3's and 1.5 turnovers
Basically a repeat performance of last year. I have no reason believing he's going to do worse, and I don't expect much better either. I will take this to the bank.
Kawhi Leonard: 26/7/4/1.7/0.6..51/88 shooting splits, 2.2 3's and 1.8 turnovers
Kawhi was babied for months last year, that's why his overall average stats have been slightly down. Averaged 28-29 ppg for the last months of the season. Reports are him being ready and healthy to start the season, no reason why these average stats shouldn't be doable.
Bojan Bogdanovic: 21/4/3/0.6/0.2...49/88 shooting splits, 2.7 3's and 2.1 turnovers
Bojan has been steady for years, no reason to think he's slowing down. That Detroit team needs scoring bad and even if he's traded somewhere else him being a vet and all, he's still getting his. He's averaged close to this for 3-4 teams already, I know what I'm getting out of him.
Tobias Harris: 17/6/2.5/1.1/0.6...51/87 shooting splits, 2 3's and 1.2 turnovers
Harris has had a good playoffs and he usually beasts when Harden is not playing. He's an expiring and whether Harden is traded or himself is at some point, he's due for a bounce back year. He's playing for a contract.
Nick Nurse has been on record saying he wants to give him more touches as well.
Tari Eason: 12/8/2/1.6/0.8...46/76 shooting splits, 1.1 3's and 1.4 turnovers
Stacked team but you just can't keep this guy off the floor if you're really about defense and winning like the Rockets are saying they are. They will probably play multiple matchups including Eason at 4 and Smith at 5 during spurts next year, he's getting his 25 minutes and these stats.
Bruce Brown: 17/6/5/1.5/0.7...48/78 shooting splits, 1.5 3's and 1.6 turnovers
IMO a candidate for most improved player of the year. Finally he gets to start from day one of a season and play major minutes for a team. He deserves it and playing with Hali will open up his game and his statistical output.
Kyle Anderson: 9/6/5/1.2/1.1....51/73 shooting splits, 0.7 3's and 1.5 turnovers
Same ole' Slow Mo', the perfect glue guy for a fantasy team and in real life too. This guy won me the chip last year with his play down the stretch and will backup every position in Minny, while getting a boost whenever someone gets hurt.
Similar stats to last year, no reason to expect less.
Jaren Jackson Jr.: 20/7/1/1.3/3.0...50/79 shooting splits, 1.9 3's and 1.7 turnovers
This guy has emerged as an all star and was named the DPOY last year, offense production should be higher with Ja out for a good chunk of the season. Basically same stats as last year + 1.5 ppg. Very doable.
Kelly Olynyk: 11/6/3.5/0.9/0.6....50/85 shooting splits, 1.7 3's and 2 turnovers
Olynyk will probably get traded at some point, but he'll see his 25-27 mpg anywhere because he's a versatile big who can defend a bit and stretch the floor. He gets a good number of assists as well. Solid 18-20th man on any team.
Zach Collins: 15/8/3/0.5/1.2...52/77 shooting splits, 1.3 3's and 2 turnovers
Starting C for the Spurs alongside Wemby in the frontcourt. These are worse stats than what he averaged after the ASB as a starter last year but a solid floor that I will take anyday.
Clint Capela: 13/12/1/0.7/1.4...65/60 shooting splits, 0 3's and 0.9 turnovers
I see him getting traded at some point. Will probably average less in Atl and more somewhere else, so this will be the average.
Steven Adams: 9/12/2.5/1.0/1.2/....60/40 shooting splits, 0 3's and 1.8 turnovers
Boy did the Grizzlies missed him last year, and my team as well. He'll resume his dirty work ways and get me those rebounds on a consistent basis.
Al Horford: 9/6/3/0.5/1...47/73 shooting splits, 2.5 3's and 0.6 turnovers
Grandpa Al is basically a 3 point shooter at this point, which I'll gladly take from my C's. Will still see plenty of minutes in that Boston frontcourt.
Draft: N/A
Moves: Done a few, in the end basically swapping Lebron James and Stephen Curry for OG Anunoby, Fred VanVleet, Derrick White, Bojan Bogdanovic and Kelly Olynyk.

Will still see plenty of minutes in that Boston frontcourt.
do you have a life outside of realgm? i can appreciate your knowledge of the game, but damn, what do you do for a living where you can spend this kind of time on fantasy teams? in the off-season!

I own a small business and I have non stop access to computers and internet.
Actually 90% of my posts and internet activity have been from "work".
I sometimes log onto the mobile app to keep up but 95% of my posts and 100% time I log in from a laptop/computer, is at my workplace.
I don't even own a personal laptop and I'm only doing "interneting" from the phone when I'm not at work.
Anyway, why are you bugging me? The guy asked to do eachother's teams, that takes a lot more work.
And I don't even post on Realgm outside of this thread. Nor do I read the threads, with very few exceptions.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 10
I like the returns you got. I'd say near perfect if not for the Collins trade to Utah because of Olynyk. I probably would disagree with Bojan's numbers just because i think the youngins will step up this year. 17-18 ppg maybe for him with an uptick more for assistsROballer wrote:I will do my own thing since I can't trust anyone being objective towards my team.![]()
Draft: N/A
Moves: Done a few, in the end basically swapping Lebron James and Stephen Curry for OG Anunoby, Fred VanVleet, Derrick White, Bojan Bogdanovic and Kelly Olynyk.
