I find it funny that some people think we're only active here because of the impending Lillard Trade because we burn through threads like it was a box of matches on a volcano. Little do they know we always stay popping. I've been guilty of wandering to other teams' sections to take a gander. Only to see they are still on the thread they started the season with.

I missed/snoozed :nonono:

Leaks from Dame's camp/trade news is likely to slow-- so this is likely the thread for the rest of the summer (Maybe?)

The Nuggets board's championship-clinching Game 5 thread had 3 pages lol. Shiiiiiiiiiid, we fill 3 pages with BBWs alone.

yup, leak's from dame's camp likely to slow

if portland wants to keep burning bridges, thats on them. it's not like we are going anywhere, we can only do vet min signings i think. we'll just wait too.

on the bright side, the longer this takes, the more valuable our expirings become. which means we will offer less than what we offer right now. a lot of teams out there trying to adapt to the new CBA apron stuff

Expiring basically have value if you take on salary. Does anyone here think Mickey will sign off on playing the tax next year for a first round draft pick as compensation? So the value to us is limited. Assuming Dame is not traded to us, odds are we will just let Lowry and his contract expire for cap purposes.

Thanks LV Dalton!!!

Pretty much sums up what Ira Winderman said the offer was a couple days ago.

I'd rather see Miami give up Jovic and/or Martin(for more assets to move) vs trading Jaquez Jr. I don't think Jovic will be able to help all that much in a Butler/Lillard window and I'm not sure how Martin is retained next summer with players like Strus getting around 16 mil a year, Jaquez Jr could potentially do a lot of what Martin does and is cost controlled.

Also, only 2 FRPs while Miami currently has the ability to unlock and trade 3 1sts seems low while also trading Herro... which sounds like trying to get multiple rotational players and cutting some salary for Miami with a Herro trade vs bringing back a draft assets.

You're welcome LeBron.

Tyler Herro is a TURD.
Bam is NOT elite but is getting better.
Fire Spoelstra!
Josh Heupel is coming for you.

I’m a proud admirer and lover of BBWs!

So hard to tell whether anything is trustworthy these days with the paid blue check people.

This dude is a nobody. It's also not that hard to say progress is being made or what the proposed deal may be. He didnt even say anything regarding the Herro team which is the most interesting piece.

Madonna is a little over twice my age, but I’d still fold. We’d be cute with our wonky knees.

Team chef undercooks the grits? That’s a trade demand.

Bright white lights in the locker room instead of soft white? That’s a trade demand.

This board really exploded post Heatles for whatever reason, I credit goodboy and iggie (yeah yeah I know they don't need the ego boost but credit where credit is due).

That being said, peak realgm imo was Knicks board circa 04-09 (basically the "peak" Isaiah era), all-time great threads there both related to bitching about guys like Curry/Randolph, as well as OT. I will never forget following the Marbury vaseline saga there as well.
