Missed the PHI game, but this fame is horrible compared to the OKC game

Can't believe the FO viewed Hardy as anything special. He is trash.

Holy **** Hardy is still erratic. Starting to remind me of THJ a bit and that concerns me. Obviously he will be on a tighter leash with Luka, but still... not so impressed with his decision making after watching 3 games.
Also huge concern about Lively. Yeah he can move his feet, can guard decent on the wing as well but he's incredibly weak which will also make him a foul machine. Gets pushed around with ease and is even worse at setting screens than Wood. No offensive game whatsoever, doesn't even look at the rim when he gets the ball down low. Not even impressed so far with his rebounding ability.
You have a superstar and a star on the team in win now mode and you waste your basically a lottery pick on a 3-4 year projected developing center. I still don't get it why they did that.

Yeah, Prosper can play, and should play 20 MPG.
Luka, Kyrie, Green, Prosper and any center should be a fun lineup.

He regressed from mid to trash. Happens. Ship him out next to THJ and get someone who at least makes their free throws and has an attention span of > 100 ms

Hardy is a much better ball handler than THJ, THJ is a better shooter and his mechanics allow him to get off more and better shots, both aren't good decision makers, but pure scorers.
Mavs need young blood, they felt Lively was too good to pass up, even if he's not ready.

Hardy bulked up too much, he needs to recalibrate his muscle memory.

They’re intentionally putting Hardy in uncomfortable situations this summer. They’re putting him in at the point which is a position he’s not ready for so he can get some game speed reps when the consequences literally don’t matter. It’s the same thing that happened with the ignite. Hardy looked good last year when he got time in the structure of the Mavs system while getting to play off Luka, Kyrie, and Josh.

I meant his decision making. He's much better ballhandler that's true.

Hardy is best when he gets to move off ball, spot up, or attack a close out.
They’re trying to give him playmaking minutes which he’s clearly not ready for.

A little bit disappointed by those 3 games of Hardy, he looks like just a volume scorer
I hope it's only a bad moment for him.
Good games by Lively and Omax... But that Moore deserves a 2 way for sure

This. In real life Hardy will almost always have a Luka or Kyrie next to him and will be off the ball/a secondary handler.

So, Hardy is not ready. He's not a PG. He's a two guard scorer and need more development. But the clown akruo on this forum said that Luka is a ballhog and should let his teammates run the show.
Clowns and narratives driven clowns are saying that Luka should play off ball. LMAO.

Maybe it's better not to be the best. Then you can lose and it's OK. - Searching for Bobby Fischer (1993)

Luka HAS TO improve playing off the ball but essentially only when Kyrie is on

Anyone watched summer league live? How does Dereck Lively compare to say, Walker Kessler at this stage?

It looks like Hardy is really a volume scorer. He is to the Mavs today like Nick Van Exel was before off the bench. Which even makes THJ and his 34M left very expendable. But I wouldnt mind trading Hardy if the right deal came along. He'd be playing behind Kyrie for the duration of this contract which means like 5 mins of playing time.

Omax looks way more advanced than DFS was during his first year with Dallas. Impressive. Might actually get minutes this season.
