I'm surprised ESPN didn't cut the ESPY's. I guess it's a moneymaker for them?

Lmao gotta respect that he’s the consensus Top 2 player ever but who actually believed he was going to retire?!? Lebron certainly is for the dramatics

I heard Nate Duncan say lebron actually did get the surgery on his foot like 6 weeks ago today,so I had questions about how someone this old reacts to surgery.

Curious to see if he’s going to be better or worse than last year because of it come playoff time

Interesting. Haven’t heard anything about the surgery. Do you have the link?

Surgery can mean a lot of things.
Sometimes you hear teams call something "a procedure" if they want to.downplay it, "surgery" if they want to hype it or it's a major injury.
Unless we know what was actually done, it doesnt mean a whole lot to me.
No disrespect to the king but he has a flair for drama let's be honest.

They have sponsors that cover the cost of the event.

definitely agree that hes keeping it hush hush so he can decide to how to use the narrative for whatever reason he chooses. I do firmly believe that all surgery is costly though. even if it was just to remove debris from the injury to make it smoother. Those knee "cleanup" surgeries still require more rehab than people let on and do come at a cost to the athlete
