If he can show that he can outplay Ingles then coach Mos would probably make room for him.

Jett looks like a SG that can play smallball SF. Not sure he's going to be competing with Ingles for minutes.

Ummm what? The league is trotting out 6'6-6'7 SF like Bridges, Barrett, Jimmy, Wiggins, JB... How does Jett being 6'8 look like a SG or smallball SF? SGs nowadays like DON, KCP ,Herro, Smart, Grayson, Booker are 6'6 below.

Gone are the days of massive SF like 6'8ish LBJ , Melo, KD... but even then, with nba conditioning Jett would probably fit in right there body-wise
yeah, to be fair, jett seems like he can handle the game physically better than dick and hawkins

Bridges, Barrett, Jimmy, Wiggins, JB look to have a good amount of weight/muscle on Jett and are much more physical guys. Jett is a finesse player.

Lol cmon dude. Jett is a fresh-face twenteen something college student. Of course he will look like a chubby kid next to those nba-conditioned bodies.

Black shooting 30% or higher from 3 would be a small miracle.

He absolutely does other things well, but that perimeter shooting (or lack thereof) made him a questionable fit here.

My gripe with the pick was just that - bad fit. His ball security issues are a lot easier to fix than the jumper.

Yeah, I completely agree he is definitely a finesse player. His game is perimeter oriented like a Duncan Robinson or KCP.

His form needs to be reworked. I'm not worried about it though. I would be much more worried if we didn't already have Paolo and Franz and were banking on AB becoming a star.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

I was just watching Dick play before this game, and he missed 4 or 5 threes in a row with the game on the line. None of the shots were close, and he was airballing some of them.

Hawkins was like 1-8 from 3 with 7 turnovers in the last game.

I was hoping that Orlando would go on a run and have Kai play so the fans can leave us alone. That won’t be happening.

I don’t think Fultz is going anywhere, just saying.

The funny thing is Dick and Jett had similar games and I saw Ray Allen, Reggie Miller and Dirk mentioned on their board and I go here and it's like "meh.. shooting Okeke"

I dont think he is actually that bad. He puts up 8pts on limited mins in nbl in like 12 mins average playing time. So per 30 mins it would be above that. And that is against australian pros and ex nba players. And hes efficiency rating is always positive even in losing games.

I honestly think hes strengths are advanced footwork in post (advanced not above average)with high basketball iq and good passing skills for a big man. Take note the clips are when hes 17 and have post moves like that. Hes a shot blocker but not sure how will he stand against young border line nba talents legs. He is lazy boxing out people but he can rebound. He is not a chet or wemby with dribbling and point guard skills but in the post he has the edge in my opinion. One thing I know.. he still have sub par stamina.

In regards to why he is not getting mins? I assume they dont want other teams to scout him.. orlando gave this guy 2x workouts 2022, 2023. Its kinda fishy to me.. or maybe he played bad in practice so coach have to give minutes to those who deserve it.. who knows..

He has the offensive trajectory of a Haliburton like Aaron Gordon has the trajectory of a Paul George, right?
