Chet and Dieng will bring a whole new dimension to that OKC squad this season. That team is stacked with good prospects.

Can we work on some sort of Dragon Ball Z fusion thing to combine Black and Jett into one player?

We aren't as delusional as the Raps board?

I thought maybe we are just used to have bright young stars turn out busts but then again, they also have a lot of Bustiani-like doozies.

Picks fail often, which is why tanking is a risk. Even so..

If Cole becomes a great 6th man, Suggs becomes a two-way impact guy who maxes out as that, Franz becomes a #2 and Paolo because a #1.. those are damn good outcomes. Cole looked bad in his 3rd summer league so IMO people are being way too negative. Not the ones pointing out their flaws, the ones calling them busts and making definitive statements.

I thought jett was going to be a defensive liability? All I've seen these games was solid defense

I know. Thats why i said we arent as delusional as the raps board because we know draft picks have a high failure rate

That's not exactly my point though  the expectation of a pick failure when arguably the last 5 picks we've made will have an impact (regardless of what Suggs originally was supposed to be, and even if one is traded), shows that even getting a usable player in the league is a decent pick.

Through a few games they've shown to be solidly average in terms of rookies struggling/playing amazingly so far - which to me is no cause for concern at all, especially seeing how Suggs flourished and Wagner stunk

I'm glad we aren't delusional though, most of us lol.. but also some people are expecting Black and Jett to immediately translate what their issues were and its like.. they would be top 5 picks if that was fixed right away

Are our lottery picks even going to be in rotation? Im not impressed at all.

Say what you want about Markelle or Suggs shot, but AB is way worse. His defense has been really good, but man how can you play him over any of our guards??

And even with Jett scoring a lot, I am not seeing how hes anything more than a shooter. His dribbling just doesnt seem to be effective and he just doesnt look like a good athlete. Not quick or explosive. He doesnt dunk near the rim and often fades away when getting near rim. He has made some good reads but also a lot of lazy passes. His defense has been a lot better than advertised though.

that last 3 was even tougher than i remember, basically shot it over 3 defenders and it was like they wasn't even there.....one of his strengths in college was hitting shots over contests....all in all i'm not sure how high AB and Jett's ceiling will go but at least for this season i can see how they can contribute to the team, there are roles for them.....Plus going by what jeff said nothing will be given so they have to work their way up....There is a lot to clean up and improve on but i'm excited to see how much better they will be when the season starts....Franz was way better when the season started after his forgettable summer league

His handle looks loose, his shot looks bad. Fair points all around. Interesting to see how it develops, I like a lot of what I've seen since we drafted him though.

Not sure how a point guard that can't dribble or shoot fits on the team but hopefully ab improves
